Hello, sir I have recovered almost completely from Bell's palsy after my accident, which happened two years ago, due to which left side of my face was facing this problem. Now, I'm just facing a single problem of different size of my eyes, my left side which was affected is having its eye size smaller as compared to the right one and my left side smile gets more stretched, when observed carefully in photos. Please advice me something about this, I'll shall be thankful to you.
How long did it take you to recover? Have you recovered totally, as it was before the accident? I have been suffering for 3 weeks and no progress at all

This technique has been developed by me ( especially for the Orbicularis occuli muscle). You won't find it anywhere else in the book or research paper. A physio must always give more importance on the concept of a treatment approach and then based on anatomical and physiological understanding should always try to develop his / her own way of treatment. Yes you can replied tape everyday there is no issue and if the patient is going to be at home then the tape can be remaining on face for a maximum 48 hours thanks for watching Physio classroom

hello sir , great demonstration and wonderful explanation of mechanism of use of k tape for bells palsy but, when will be the best time to apply this k taping in bells palsy patient ? as normally the treatment given for patients is facial stimulation on regular basis and when we apply k tape we keep it atleast for 2 days minimum ? will taping along with exercises be more efficient then muscle stimulation ? and applied it near sensitive skin of eye wont cause any irritation ? thank you !

How far post onset is this helpful? I’m nearing 3 yrs. No one ever discussed this with me. Never heard of it till now. Would it still help- I have Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.

Hello, Just tape on the weaker side. Tape can be left applied for up to 48 hours if not going outside the house. Otherwise apply in the evening and remove the next day.
I go to the neurology specialist doctor, and he gives me asteroid tablet and vitamin D,b12, tablet, and physiotherapy recommend, This is completely recovery possible

Sir, why did you apply only 10% strech to facilitate frontalis muscle as it has been said that 35% is applied to facilitate and 25% to inhibit the muscle
The Direction of recoil is key to facilitate / inhibit. Percentage of stretch can be varied depending on the effect required. I hope you have watched the initial videos of kinesiotaping series.

Hello, As you mentioned you had a mild stroke. In that case the facial deviation usually resolved in first 3 months by itself. So no need for you to perform the above taping. However facial exercises can be done. We have made a detailed video on facial PNF exercises. You can take help from your family member to carry out those twice a day. Wishing you a speedy recovery 💕
@@PhysioClassroom thank you sir for your kindness by taking time to reply. Sir the neurologist told me on a scale of 1 to 10, my stroke was a 3 or a 4. I have a facial droop, weakness in my left arm and left leg . Sir I think it is fair to say using the kinesiology tape want hurt me. Sir are you against a person that has my profile from using the tape? and if you are not against me using the tape wouldn,'t using the tape expedite my healing and making it more apt that I will have a full recovery,? It would seem to me that the kinesio tape would make me heal faster.
Can be re-applied daily for best results. Daily application will provide patient the window period to complete other therapies like EMS, facial massage and even outdoor visits. Longer application is suitable if patients is going to be at home and is mainly relying on facial exercises as the treatment.
