Oh my god this video is incredible. Love the tutorial, but I can’t get over how amazing your intro is and how you lay out what’s going to happen in such an exciting way. So punchy. And I love the music mixed through. Please keep making these, smashing the subscribe button as hard as I can.
Audio is so overlooked in mograph, so well done! However I'd love to get some insight on the animation choices you made. You clearly did the animation then went back and did this step by step tutorial. But you didn't once ram preview any of the animation until the end! If you're working with audio you'd be constantly playing it, seeing what works, refining it. I'm nitpicking though. Great stuff
Hi Adam! Thanks very much! You're right, I planned the animation before recording the tutorial. As you said, usually there would be a lot of previewing and adjusting the animations. Especially in this case. I always try to find a compromise between putting in as much content as possible and the videos not getting too long... I plan on live streaming sometime in the future, so that would be the whole animation process from start to end, without editing.
Thank You Manuel, Learned a lot. Would you recommend any tutorials further explaining the Echo effect and all the options within the effect? there is a lot of experimenting that can be done once fully understood. Thank You once again.
You’re very welcome! So happy you like it. I think it is all about experimenting with the settings of the effect. You could add it to any moving shape and play with the different settings.
AMAAAAAAAZIIIING tutorial, Manuel! Thanks for this. I have a question though. I'm trying to apply the mask to text like you did in 5;17, but after masking, the text is far away outside from the mask and isn't aligning to the mask path. I think there's an issue with my mask settings. Any idea how I can fix this?
Thanks! Glad you like it! That's weird... Did you add the mask to the text layer? It seems like you added the path to the position property by accident.
@@ManueldoesMotion yes I added the mask to the text layer. Did a bit of troubleshooting here and there and realised the error was from the baseline shift in the character panel. Thanks so much
