"As a nod to Kinfolk‘s winter issue, we gathered together around the world to celebrate the season’s offering of rich colors, flavors and textures that hide just beneath the surface of the earth: We hoped to showcase the often-overlooked root vegetables that simply aren’t celebrated in the same way as summer’s bounty. Our international group of hosts exceeded all expectations by incorporating fabric dying tutorials, foliage installations and a myriad of earth-inspired dishes as part of their events. Thank you to all our hosts and community partners that made this gathering a particularly special affair around the globe"
