The front piece of the reactor should have a much more sense of depth. It's just a plastic sleeve. The $400 man they could have did a lot more with that I'd be pissed
it'd be cool if there was a way where the palladium had small batteries in them like those small watch batteries so you could have the lithium and the small ones so the palladium actually powered it, obviously the burnt one wouldn't work though
+trans turner no you have to charge the reactor prop with a usb cable. I am not talking about how it's done in the movie but in real life with this propreplica.
I wish I had seen your video ahead of time. Mine had a ton of defects. Watching your video I also noticed you had a defect on the stand part. Looks like your missing one of the faux brass fittings in the lower right of the stand. Mine had defects in the box. Wood chip in the base. The stops for the cartridges were all broken. Hot glue residue and a touch up marker stain in one of the wood depressions. The base is such a simple design and was a huge let down when it was made of plastic. The reactor too? The reactor sounds like a worn out cd drive. Most of the energy went into the box for materials. Really disappointed.
It's probably sold out at BBTS. It's an import good. King Arts does not have international distribution for their Marvel products. They currently have the greater China region license only.
wish they would remake this with bright LED and maybe a flickering when the bad chip is in and maybe somehow make the stand wireless charging for the actual reactor
Hi guys, my energy plates won't go in unless I force them down. The release is working pretty fine but the reactor doesn't "suck" the energy plate at all, anyone have an idea on how to fix it ?
They just lost their license to sell 1:1 scale props outside of Asia so you might have to find someone in HK to help you now but their 1/9 scales figures are up on BBTS and HLJ.
+Raymond Leung wow really? I didn't hear that. That's going to really hurt their sales i would imagine. Kinda disappointing too since there are a couple other props i was hoping to get from them
+SentinelPrimek That Iron Man arm comes with Mjolnir. I ordered it from their store in Hong Kong months ago and having my friend shipping it to me when it comes out.
JurassicCollectables Great seeing you again :) Hope you're doing well. As a prop collector as well, what are your honest thoughts on this and if it's worth the price tag?
***** I think this one for me comes down to the functionality - the novelty of it actually working! I think for the price tag there could have been metal in the components, although in terms of display it still looks awesome. Thanks for such a great in depth review
***** hey optibotimus I was super stoked to watch this review because I actually only could read ironman king arts probably because I watch all my reviews on my smart phone. Needless to say it wasn't. Which isn't a bad thing but has me questioning you if you'll be getting the 1/9th scale king arts Ironman figures. I think they look pretty sweet especially since they managed to make a mk. 45 Hulkbuster that fits the mk. 43 inside it..so I preordered both but all I can find are Asian speaking reviews. And although I DO watch some reviewers over there, like wotakus closet (or something like that) & a few others, I REALLY like to see a review of someone like you or Shartimus. So do you have plans on getting any king arts iron man figures or you sticking with just Hot Toys? Thanks :)
Ha ha name drop. Damn I ow you a beer now. I'm not liking the reactor. The front looks to be lacking a lot of detail but that may be because of the video. That box and contents look great thou
SlavjanA I respect that. What do you feel makes this not worth it? What prop replicas do you personally own to be able to draw a comprehensive comparison between the different pieces?
How could they put so much effort into the box and palladium cards, and the badass mechanism, but the front of the reactor is sooooo bad compared to every other company’s?
Kobalta Sorry but it's not really lacking any details. Having it in hand and comparing it to screen used models...it's pretty exact. Marvel obviously wouldn't lend out the license for it otherwise.
