king reminds me much of saitama also. I would love to see one day seeing king and Saitama fighting together. This is a huge step for king. and showing he may have what it takes to be a real hero. and those first steps are admiting he is in the wrong and wanting to do the right thing. even if people can't hear him.

i think garou’s haircut really shows his character development. he used to be really ambitious on making his goal come true. he never really “laid” low. however, though he’s still short-tempered now, his character feels more relaxed and at ease with himself. garou’s hair change really showcases how he became at rest with his past goal, and now striving to create a new one. love his character!

This series has so many great characters, and does a great job at flushing them out. We get a good look into their insecurities and the individual journeys they pursue to conquer them. I think King’s journey is going to be my favorite!

One punch man is so underrated in comparison with the hypes of moment like kimetsu and similars. This series is simply on a higher level, the art is always improving to a level that if was not comedy it could sit with almost berserk level. And the plot is a never ending enjoyment. Don't even looks like has all those years since I first read it

Unless King gets an instant power-up like in some fanfic out there, training under Bang won't give him immediate power. Even should he be slated as the second to be able to remove his limiter (or third, since Zombieman has taking upon himself to try to do it too), it'd take time. Saitama took 3 years, so realistically, unless going for a fanfic plot as above, it'd take the same time for King too (and Zombieman as well). Either there's something planned for the next medium to long terms or at least King and Zombieman will be the center of some sort of plot device to empower them in a shorter time.

I really hope that King isn't just treated as a gag fodder like character anymore and that he trains to be like Saitama. He could be a great way of showing how much effort it took for Saitama to reach a high level of power. Of course I wouldn't wanting King to be on par with Saitama anytime soon, but I think if they put him in the direction of the "next Saitam" would be cool. Also, I think it would be neat if King could be used as an example to other heroes on what they can become, and maybe a way to "break their limits?" It would be cool to see people like metal bat and genos breaking their limiters after a fight or intense training and gaining a power up. Just my two cents though.
