If anyone can break their limiter like Saitama...it'll be King. How many times has King been on the verge of death and survived? He's pushed through every life threatening situation physically and more importantly mentally. He may be the mentalist counterpart to Saitama's limitless strength.

Let me know if y'all like this alternative scenario for King. Taking up the pose before slicing the Apple. Everyone is staring intensely at King. After a couple of minutes, he puts the sword down and walks away. King thinks to himself maybe I should come up with a reason for them not to get close to the apple so they won't find out I didn't cut it. He couldn't come up with anything, so he simply tells them not to get close to the Apple he wouldn't want anything bad to happen to them. They look on with confusion except for Atomic. Suddenly Atomic yells for everybody to clear the way and get away as far as they can. after a few minutes of running. A huge Explosion happens right where the apple is at. And what seemed like an explosion was actually saitama landing and jumping away fighting another monster. But Atomic saw it as king accidentally splitting one of the atoms of the Apple, causing an explosion because he remembered that King said that he was an amateur with a sword.

The fact that King is actually exceptionally gifted at gaming make me really wanna see him pilot a mech-

King already has many noticed skills 1.king level luck, 2. King level motor control 3. King level gaming skill 4.king level intimidation 5.king level bluff 6.king level summon... Naming some. No need for his actual physical or power skills.

Seems like you can outscale King's power, its shown that the stronger an opponent is the harder it is for King to convince them. Atomic Samurai was able to put up a pretty good fight for a while, same with platinum S but for Saitama he simply saw through him straight away.

King is like an anti punching bag. The world won’t let him die but is will rough him up.

King DOES have a pretty potent power, though: no matter what happens, things just always seem to work out for him - his power is that of forcing the perception of others, even if unintentionally, and that actually ends up being an extremely powerful ability. Consider that his mere presence and the beating of his heart, however much of a gag to us as the READERS, is sufficient enough to bring S-class heroes capable of leveling city blocks to their knees, or influence their actions EVEN WHEN they are determined to fight him - something always stops them. He can stop the fight before it even begins, and what's more, he has the ability to draw - however unintentionally, powerful allies to his side like Saitama at just the right time. If you look at it from that perspective, that isn't actually just a joke power. It's REAL power. The universe winds around him, rather than him working to accommodate the universe. He has been faced with truly powerful, deadly enemies and walked away without a scratch not just because he's "lucky" but because there is something fundamental to King that holds a powerful influence over those around him such that he doesn't NEED physical strength to subdue them - or even to try at all. In that sense, with even some of the strongest of the strong changing their actions because he's simply THERE, you cannot deny there's power in that. Still....I'd really like a story arc where Saitama trains King to break his limits and JUST when the other heroes think they're onto King, and are SURE that he's actually weak and are SURE they're about to expose him publicly as a fake, THAT'S right after he breaks his limit and becomes, like Saitama, unfathomably strong. Then Saitama and King could have fun fighting an equal in each other, or just play video games because physical strength bores them so much. THAT would be a fun arc for the end of OPM.

Yup King's power is being King in chess. While being completely useless with slow movement, everyone must protect him with all cost. King being godlike at games just to emphasize that as well...he always make the bestest of the bests out out his pawn. Ofc life is not chess or video games, so those powers manifest as extreme luck + confuse aura (his King Engine). I truly believe if King had a chance of controlling Genos, he'd beat the shit out of both Metal Knight and Drive Knight at the same time xD

King’s biggest superpower is bluffing; intentionally and unintentionally. He’s the epitome of “King used confusion, it was super effective”. Paired with his secondary trait of monsters that don’t surrender getting destroyed shortly after, he’s virtually unstoppable.

I wholeheartedly believe King does have real superpower, he can make everyone overestimate him and act to his favor unknowingly no matter how unlikely. Also while it'd be considered superpower or not, his gaming skill is otherworldly unreal.

An idea for a power up for King: a robot made by metal knight or someone with the skills, controlled using a game controller, king would be overpowered, especially if the robot is durable and has speed to match King’s moves

I am convinced that King is actually very powerful, much like Saitama. The only issue is that his power is concentrated on gaming. If there could be a way to bring that out to the real world, everything would be over. And finally, Saitama will get the battle he always wanted.

King is a fucking GENIUS. I love how people think "strong" means physical power... Intelligence is such an underrated idea of humans... We made it this far based on Intelligence. We broke past the skepticism of the holy church and pushed passed every subjugation of intelligence... The world's most powerful weapon is Knowledge...

You know, it occurs to me that the moment with the "sword-reading" is actually kinda perfect. Obviously Atomic completely misreads the situation and that's part of the gag, but if you think about it in terms of what actually happened, it fits King perfectly. He was completely incapable of performing even the most basic version of such a physical feat, And yet he still managed to keep it up for a frankly unreasonable amount of time. (Seriously imagine just standing there for 3 minutes straight in silence while someone just holds a sword) which of course represents him maintaining this bluff for so many years at the hero association. Throughout the whole time he of course said nothing and simply held an intimidating pose, which is how he tends to get through most situations due to his naturally intimidating look despite his cowardly interior. And then of course at the end, he simply walked away to try and avoid having to explain himself just like how he tries everything he can to avoid actual confrontations.
