Great shave. That razor, like others have said here in the comments, is the Gillette Heritage, not the King C Gillette. With that being said, I hope you’re having a good time in Hawaii and have a safe trip back home.

Nice Hawaiin shave. I also enjoyed the snippets of the various sites you took in. Thanks for sharing. BTW, I've always thought that using the balm first is better for soothing and moisturizing the skin. Also, for me at least, the splashes and colognes last longer when they are applied last. Enjoy the rest of your vacation.

Splash has no effect if you apply it after the balm. It's not even meant to last long due to a really low concentration of perfume oils.

Excellent shave Ken. It was really cool seeing that WW2 bunker and all of the movie props. If you can, please record your visit to the USS Arizona memorial. Both of my grandfathers were WW2 veterans may they rest in peace.

Love seeing the Heritage used for a shave. I bought the razor recently, it is very mild (I like a pretty aggressive razor) to short, and to light, but I love that little razor! Throw a Nacet in there and it is such a lovely shave. Who knew? 😁 I was just at that beach on Sunday (when you made the video) Saw 6 sea turtles,, so it was a very good day. Cheers, from Honolulu!

The title says, "King C Gillette" and you say, "King C Gillette", but what you show us is Gillette Heritage Razor. Assumption is you really mean, "Gillette Heritage Razor".

Thats actually a Gillette Heritage razor. The King C Gillette has a longer handle and different head that looks similar to what Merkur uses.

Wait, isn't that the King C. that was available only in the US over Amazon for a limited time? I don't think you can easily replace that. The standard King C. can be bought everywhere, but not this one. This one is going to be a collector's item soon, especially in Europe.

It’s actually the Gillette Heritage razor that released a few years ago, but it’s currently unavailable on the Amazon Gillette store here in the States. The King C edition was launched by Gillette shortly after the heritage and its available at most retailers here in the States.

That Gillette case will pinch fingers on the hinge side if you're a doofus like me! I found that head meh but the stubby knurled handle is a good facsimile to the OG tech razor. Probably why I love it so.
