She would have been better off making a silent protest by not attending at all if she behaves like a petulant teenager with her emotional outbursts at these functions. King Charles strongly supported the indigenous communities within his speech, but radicals like Lydia like to stir the pot.

Its very sad that some people think europeans brought civilization and “rationality” to the first peoples. Anthropological Superiority Complex in a nutshell. As an Englishman I want to say well done that was exceptional Australia, a really brilliant ceremony. I also want to express that I wish His Majesty's speech had touched on something more than simply climate change and indigenous rights. I understand a lot of the negative reaction on here, but I must say even if you feel that way, it is the crown that binds us as a family. I love Australia, and I think the continent is an incredible success story. I also hope that with AUKUS and the geopolitical climate that the link between us can continue. You are rightly politically independent, and I would want it no other way, that is on everything. But having this personal link is something so significant. There is also the fact that for a while there, during the opening ceremony, I felt a bit less isolated. Ultimately, after having left the EU, something I supported, now we must work to strengthen ties with our truest allies. I have absolute respect for His Majesty, but in my opinion there was so much more to talk about when it comes to our interpersonal, and simply almost uncanny cultural similarity that we have on opposite sides of the planet. Thank you Australia, and whatever future you choose I will always support you, but I wouldn't feel right if I didn't make the plea to maintain your link to your crown. I shouldn't have to say this, but it does not mean you are subservient to Brits, or Britain, it means you recognise your sovereign, as we do. The fact it rests on the same head is a beautiful way of symbolising our shared bonds. And, I will shut up now, final remark that bond is to do with our shared system of individualism, parliamentarianism, liberalism, common law, and the way in which we engage with ourselves as an island or as a continent. You call yourself a critical biblical thinker, but I might say I am rather critical of you. Certainly Jesus Christ is King, the King of Kings even, but I think it is folly to believe that any Christian should deride earthly monarchs simply because they are not our Lord. Did not God give the people of Israel kings with Saul, David, Solomon, Rehoboam, etc.. ? They weren't perfect, that I accept, and some of the kings were plain wretched, yet we must still recognise they are kings. When news of Sauls death reached David he still lamented, despite the fact Saul had tried to kill countless times, because Saul was after all King - the Lord's anointed. Furthermore, I ask you to consider what Jesus said. Rend unto Ceaser what is Ceaser's and unto God what is Gods. Or perhaps consider Romans 13 : 1-7. And then if you consider Church history you will see for 2,000 years Christians have been living under monarchies and showing that you can respect a king without constraining your faith. But if that doesn't convince you, at least consider this. His Majesty King Charles is loved by God so much that Christ died for him. God wants the best for the King and wills for him to be saved. Knowing this I think it is only right that the Church, at least in the places where Charles is King, should pray for his salvation and that we should respect him and the authority which God has given him in this life.

Climate change is not a problem provided we adapt to it with common sense and that does not include denying nuclear and fossil fuels. The climate will always change as it has done since the earth began BUT that aside, the King speaks broadly of other issues and with feeling.
