Our December monthly spotlight: SeaTac PD
The city of SeaTac is home to roughly 32,000 residents and has partnered with the King County Sheriff’s Office since 1990. In addition to its residents, thousands of visitors pass through the city each year to access the hotels, restaurants, and services of the SeaTac International Airport, located entirely within the city boundaries.
SeaTac Police Department, which has recently become its own Precinct, includes patrol officers, detectives, traffic enforcement officers, and community service officers. SeaTac also hosts various community outreach programs and public safety forums to keep residents and businesses engaged in community policing and problem-solving projects.
