It's a coincidence that King Curtis did the sax solo on the original hit by Ben E. King. It's also coincidence that Atco records issued both of these versions of the song five years apart.
Hermosa melodía,que llegan a cubrir los mas excelsos sentimientos ---Descriptiva,...de vivencias penosas y tristes de un lugar poco recomendada ,....pero donde no crecen rosas,,,,se escuchan esta melodía...
The lady on the album cover? I'm not entirely sure. But according to the album's reverse, the album cover itself was done by Nick Samardge. He worked as a photographer, on various Atlantic Records-based album covers of the 1960's. This album (by King Curtis) was released by Atco, a subsidiary of Atlantic Records. Interestingly enough, the same woman is featured on the cover of Percy Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman". Samardge's other credits include: At least three albums by Wilson Pickett ("The Exciting Wilson Pickett", "The Sound of Wilson Pickett" and "The Wicked Pickett"), Patti LaBelle (with the Bluebells), Joe Tex, The Strangeloves, Mary Wells, Ray Ellis and Mose Allison.
