I just watched an 1987 interview King with 3 1970's looking suit guys ,they must have expected him to be to some crazy out of control person. I Loved his repose. He was intelligent & calm. He didn't respond when they tried to provoke him. Gotta love King.
If the interviewers thought this why have him on and suck up to him then trash him after he leaves? King isn't a judgmental piece of shit like these two and would be very kind and talk to them about his views, while not judging them on theirs.

It was the s'80, everything metal had to do with Satan! At least for all that people burning records! I remember all that crap! I believe King mentioned the book deliberately to cause an effect on that lady. You can tell she was genuinely scared from the beginning, and watch the hand shake at the end. She was trembling.

Only God can judge another person. I agree them being judgemental is never an avenue with getting through to someone. However they know the devil is evil and you shouldn't be messing with him.
I don't care that king is a Satanist, I believe in god, but I still listen to him, he rules, that was rude of the interviewers. don't judge someones religion.
They complain about the makeup, but if he showed up without the inverted cross earrings and on his forehead, they probally wouldnt of even said anything lol. Just proof that the "Makeup" wasn't the issue lol

@balancepiston Gene sues everything and everyone because his sole purpose in life is making money. No biggie for a guy like King. He makes his money through working, not suing people.
I think Gene is a greedy douche. Really started to hate him when I learned so much about him when he did his reality show family jewels. He's so disrespectful to his beautiful wife too.

I'm not sure whether they see it as their religious orientation or just as philosophy. I would go with the second alternative. No, i did not see his new stage show. He appeared at the Sweden Rock Festival recently but I weren't able to go. I heard it was pretty sick though. :)

I think it’s crazy that they rag on king diamond for his makeup but literally showed Motley Crue who wears makeup and high heels and spends thousands on their outfits

@MikeToddOnline what principles? they stated their opinion, at the time there was alot of talk about KD & even some Metal heads i knew refused to listen to him. thanks to MTV i saw his videos & became a fan. He is NOT a "Satanist" hes an atheist & doesn't believe in Religion. I am not an Atheist But i also don't believe in Religion. King Diamond is a Good guy & a great singer & thats all that matters
