It is not every song that must be sang in the language you understand. Honestly, some of these ignorant people lived their whole life not in their villages but in Accra and never returned to their villages yet they pretend and remain ungrateful to their host. You now see people from other regions who don’t speak Twi as their mother tongue abandon their identity. I hardly hear people speak Ewe, Dagbani etc in GT Accra unless their hometown . They are no longer proud of their origin. All regions pretending to be speaking Twi against GaDangme language. We will always stand strong and the change will come.

Although there are ignorant folks around when we discuss about Ghanaian languages, however, there are several Ga songs that have received massive support like tracks from Tinny, Gazmilla, Adane best and so on. King Promise, Bright of Bukbak and Praye tintin all sing in Ga sometimes and we all love them. The major issue here is people tend to support a song based on the vibes it brings and how much promotion goes into it.

Ghanaian will not allow him to grow properly because he is promoting Ga culture, not twi. Ga people are talented musically but the twi people will not allow them to grow beyond them.

Me too and it's sad that he's not getting the recognition but hey that's Ghana for you. 🥰

When you sing in ga you are nothing , he have to mix it with English even it's Pidgin
