I love how he plays these amazing licks and sings at the same time. I can’t even sing and play chords at the same time, he sings so soulfully. Sure Dave Mustaine can do crazy lightspeed metal riffs and sing at the same time but there’s just something about this that just has so much more emotion
it’s not that hard once you get the cadence of the lyrics. obviously need to be comfortable on the instrument, he was playing guitar for like 5+ years at the time this was recorded.

2:40 you know what, this right here is what separates a good musician from an exceptional musician. Adam Neely fans will know this, repetition legitimizes. He fucked up the riff, but he repeated it the same way once, then used the next riff to transition back to playing it properly. That repetition makes it seem much more natural, notice how the second time sounded fine? Un fucking real Archy.

He's like if you took a kid who was into punk music, but taught him jazz guitar for a year or two, and then just abandoned him. In a good way! His playing is very, very unique
