This full length fishing episode shows the crew of Reel Hazardous fishing in a Kingfish tournament out of Northeast Florida known as the Kingbuster. While fishing offshore the crew also catches some sharks and Barracuda trying to get their big Kingfish. They also have fun telling stories when the fishing is slow.
We start the day by catching Menhaden for bait. We also bring Ribbonfish and Blue Runners (Hardtails) to troll with as well. We then hit a few spots offshore trying to find a "smoker" King!

I’ve never seen anyone rig 2 live baits on 1 rig what’s the story to that ????? There’s no way both baits will swim naturally together ?

Really?! The double pogey (or any live bait rig) is infamous for Kingfish lol. The baits seem to go back and forth between swimming together and fighting each other. They still troll well with the boat regardless but when they fight each other is seems to give more flash and vibration in the water that attract kingfish. It can also make the bait look bigger which is good for big fish. The double pogey rig is very successful. Give it a try next time you go out.

Reel Hazardous just never seen it fished I’ve been in the industry for years out of Destin Fl caught many of King’s over 40+ . I think someone would get fired on the spot in Destin for that 🤣🤣

+allthingsfishing00 Thanks! They might be there by then. With this mild winter we had I think they will probably come early. On several occasions I have caught Kingfish on the near shore wrecks in April!
