This game has so much potential.. Too bad the Maximum Impact Series discontinued... I really hope SNK have some way to ressurect it. Cause I really like the designs here... In fact, Alba Meira was my first favourite KOF character

@@speedy932key4 some of them look dumb. I like Iori's but why change the hair. Looks stupid on him. There are good ones like wild wolf's and billy kane's one. But the ones I hate the most are negase's, rocks's and ash's. But yeah the game overall is underrated.
@@blaze6477 my favorite alternates were maxima's, kula's and kyo's. I wasnt a fan of rock's alternate either, and thats the one ive seen people say they hate the most
@@speedy932key4 I would have liked there to be a maximum impact 3, where ash was involed in the story. And I would have like to have seen Elizabeth, Shen, Benimaru and King in the game.
@@blaze6477 I would have liked to see a sequel as well, especially since the second game ended with a weird cliffhanger. It would have been cool if ash how plot relevance, but I dont know how they would have done it
MI was such a dope spinoff, in fact I really love the original MI characters here (I main Mignon btw hahah) maybe hopefully SNK will kake MI characters to be a dlc charactera soon in KOFXV
@@OtherBarry4908 some of the animations from 2D to 3D look a bit bad and weird looking. But I was shocked how good the gameplay was. Underrated game in general.

Also ogure literally admitted in the first official reveal trailer for kof xv that they've never simply titled a king of fighters game as kof except for the mi games.. Mi2 got a promotional 4 episode anime.. XV is getting a promotional anime, with each new character revealed there is a little info short given for the characters by one of the employees.. same was done for mi2... There are more examples but you aren't going to read paragraphs.. During XIV's build up to being released mi characters such as alba, soiree, and luise were being asked of by fans to be added to the roster as a team alongside highly requested characters like shingo, rock, rugal and others.... In other words.. Don't bandwagon because that's the thing to do
Maximum Impact is bang average, I’m not even the biggest KOF XIV fan as I think a lot of the older games are better but it’s still way better than MI since it actually plays like a bad Tekken, at least XIV plays like a classic KOF game
there is a movelist in the start menu of the game but in general the special moves are done by doing a quarter circle or half circle on the joystick and then pressing a button at the end of the motion.

Lol SNK has such a bad rep with KOF and creating new characters. A lot of them were garbage and never used in newer titles. From this game to KOF11 and now KOF14. New characters come and go.. Idk why they still haven't showcased Adelheid more.
That is valid for the games of the Ash saga onwards, that is generally considered a huge declining phase of the series. Only very few new chars arent bad, and only Xiii had good gameplay. But it cant alone save a whole arc... That must be why it felt as if Kof Xiv avoided the Ash saga (except by adding Oswald)
