4:26 "You might have a [Insert whatever character she's fighting super's here], BUT I HAVE A GUN!" Don't why, but I love Krizalid's short and quick super. Sound design plays a huge part in it. Igniz's super looks like it should just obliterate a character immediately lmao
agree with Igniz, dude literally traps you in a black hole... thing or w/e, and summons the energy of the universe on your forehead, it's fucking epic imo
2:51 The reason why I love using Ralf. He is one of the most damaging characters and he can literally one shot his enemy with some of his special moves
@6:36 That kick combo is so beautifully animated. She used a spinning hook kick to flow into a jumping back kick, wow. Slow it down @6:39 and see the poetry
some characters have way better moves...i don't why some fans say the Max2 super is the best...like Benimaru for example...the move where he does the lightning dash across the screen is WAY cooler and more useful but it isn't considered his best move.
@@greaseking2220 it feels sad if CPU plays with him, it feels really weird when you compare with K' who has a pretty weak move in this video despite being the protagonist of previous era and ultra badass
@@generalezaknenou its not just about the damage though k' can be chained in combos easily, its also cooler when he yells PITCH BLACK! in japanese as the screen turns black and teleports behind you
Igniz was the boss with the biggest snk boss syndrome (in KOF 2001)believe me when I say it will take alot to put him down and not rage quite than when I saw his new super I'm thinking if he had in his debut no one's going to finish the f-ing game
Since the team who created her were mexicans using mexican wrestlers as reference I have to say no, the movement is more closely related to Octagon specially since WWE was not a thing in Mexico in 2001 when she was created.
@@ChaosAngel667 One of her quotes literally says Do you smell what the Angel is cooking. I was in high school and playing kof at the time, and The rock was a worldwide pop culture Icon even during those days.
@@beethovenlivesupstairs4182 when does she say that quote? And where did you grew up? In 2001 the Rock was cultural icon in USA, not in México which is where the devs who created Ángel come from.
@@ChaosAngel667 Actually Angel was created by BrezzaSoft, the team that co-developed KOF 2001 with SNK. The guy who won a bet with both companies was a Mexican named Ángel Torres. That's where Angel in KOF got her name. The people's elbow yes, is indeed a reference to The Rock.
I love The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match I play it all time in PS4 and Which SNK Bosses Characters that are not in The King of Fighters XV would you like to see in The King of Fighters XV in The Next Season
You forgot Ryo's other HSDM (Geki Ryuuko Ranbu), which is ⬇️↘️➡️ + C > A. Well, the only difference in the two HSDMs is the speed, they look the same otherwise.
7:24 As someone said, Original Zero's MAX2 is very MUGEN-like But it is awesome! XD 6:11 Nice reference to the ending of the Art of Fighting in KOF 2000 8:03 That pose... Golly! Igniz is a Saint Seiya fan! Maxima got a much better MAX2 compare to the one from vanilla 2002 Same for Clark, Vice and Chang. Mai, Yamazaki, May Lee and Whip's MAX2 are already great in both versions of 2002
Clark's is hard to pull up and doesn't do that much damage anyways. The only thing I think it serves is to waste time for the enemy as it last quite some useful seconds.
The thing about KOF 2002UM is that it is more like a sequel of vanilla KOF 2002 than an updated version. They changed almost everything, the only thing that they kept was the gameplay but more polished. I am going to be honest. I miss the stages of the OG 2002, especially Korea, China, Italy and Mexico Stages. Another thing that annoys me is how SNK Playmore decided to make an entire new soundtrack instead of making an AST for the OST of the original KOF 2002 I really wanted to listen to arranged versions of Tears 02, Kurikinton 02, Beauty and the Beast 02, Medley: The Earth of Raging Flames, The Netherlands, Deserted Town, Napolitan Trance, Progress, etc. Finally, removing K9999 for Nameless was a big mistake. I am glad that SNK no longer hates K9999
The general consensus is that the 2002 versions of those songs are bad though. Indeed, when I first heard some of those songs in 2002 and then hear them again in their original game, I was blown away by how bad the 2002 versions sounded. Jungle Bouncer and Beauty and the Beast were the worst offenders.
@@ChaosMissile I respect your opinion. I personally prefer the instruments they chose for the 2002 version of Beauty and the Beast. Those drums were an excellent choice It is slower than the 2000 version but it still sounds great. Very heroic and also, has a more Kyokugenryu Karate vibe. Other remixes like Bloody 02 sounds better than the original OST version from KOF 97 Tears 02 is my favorite version of Tears. It is sadder and more melancholic than the original. Kurikinton 02 is great! Like the hip hop style Anyway, I know music is a very subjective topic but I am in the minority that likes the KOF 2002 remixes and really wanted to listen to arranged versions. Thankfully the fans have made grear covers, I recommend you watching Daniel D Harvey YT channel. He makes awesome remixes of many KOF tracks
If they had kept the teams of four members like the other games of the NESTS saga, the teams would have been these: K: K', Maxima, Kula, Foxy AOF: Ryo, Robert, Yuri, King Fatal Fury: Terry, Andy, Joe, Mary Psycho Soldiers: Athena, Kensou, Chin, Bao Japan: Kyo, Benimaru, Daimon, Shingo Women Fighters: Mai, Kasumi, Hinako, Xiangfei Orochi: Yamazaki, Yashiro, Shermie, Chris Yagami: Iori, Mature, Vice, Billy Korea: Jhun, Chang, Choi, May Lee Ikari: Leona, Ralf, Clark, Whip 2000: Vanessa, Seth, Ramon, Lin NESTS: Angel, K9999, Kyo-1, Kyo-2 Masters: Takuma, Heidern, Kim, Saisyu As for the gameplay, put a polished version of the stryker system of KOF 2001
Wasn't this game supposed to have Guilty Gear characters in the Unlimited Match version? I remember the four they were supposed to add were Sol, Ky, Dizzy and Baiken.
