King Oscar Sardines are a luxury I consider them. They are well worth the money for what you get. The presentation is excellent. The taste is superb. And the olive oil is viscous and rich so you know you’re getting the real deal. They rank 10/10 in my list.
A word to the wise... To keep the sardines from tearing when you are eating them, just dump them in a separate plate, there is also a way to do that, just open the can, when completely open and the lid removed, turn the open upside down over the plate, and shake softly downwards, the sardines will fall on the plate without tearing, this is how I do it.
King Oscars are my favorite. Sometimes I eat them like you are in the video. Other times I cook some rice. Then put in a little extra water to make steam, pour off excess olive oil, and lay sardines on top of the rice. Season to taste with Texas Pete (Tabasco if you're not from the South) and allow to steam for a few minutes. Easy to make a delicious and filling meal...
Tried Nuri sardines today. Best sardines I ever had but they are quite expensive. Gonna try king oscar next time as they are much more affordable. Thanks for the great review!
I only ever got the great value at Walmart sardines. But decided to get this brand and HOLY HELL! I don't know why I didn't try it sooner, these are so much better, I don't care about the price, I'll only be getting these from now on, and maybe try some other brands as well.
Mediterranean style Sardines are my favorite flavor from King Oscar and King Oscar is my favorite brand overall! However, I'll settle for beach cliff for the occasional snack. King Oscars are the ones you break out when you really want the best tasting Sardines that aren't super fat like the cheaper brands are.

King oscar hi end sardines ? Well maybe in the US , but in europe there are an average sardine , cost like 1.5 euro (2$) , the best we have here are some sardines made in portugal, Lisbon is the name and Franz Josev.
Great Video, guys! Even the mom who was filming was most reluctant. the little blond girl needs a one on one retry on the sardine, but in a food dish that she could sample. These kids are making up their minds now.
I think this brand is worth the price, based on eating the cheaper sardines, which aren't terrible, but I feel like you're cheating yourself with the other stuff, but that Mediterranean stuff sounds pretty good
I like to dump them all out on a plate and smoosh them all up with the oil and 🌿 herbs so I get every drop of the 🌿 herbs and extra-virgin olive oil. Yum. Thanks for your review - it made me hungry!
Paul Medina our local grocery store quit selling the King Oscar brand. They had about 200 tins in the bargain bin. I bought them all! They were the 2 layer variety.
