Heyo o7 No Clue if it is of any interest to you but if changing and low temperatures are an issue, you might wanna consider building a simple incubator based on an aquarium-heater. Those things have bi-metal switches and can be adjusted for our target temperature range. And cost would be only about 5-10€ (just for the pump). Plus maybe a few bucks for construction material of the box itself. I have seen someone use two stackable plastic containers (the kind one might use for a Still-Air- or Glove-Box or the likes) the space between the outer and inner container filled with water and the Aquarium heater, and then the cultures in the 'floating' inner box. Whole thing covered in a blanket and that was it. It might be more efficient to use an old styrofoam box or smth similar and to modify that to accomodate the heater as well as maybe a cotton filled 'window' for air exchange...

Just cloned a couple dishes last week and they are blowing up hard.

I made my first dishes two days ago and wanted to ask how long it takes until you can see the mycelium spread. I'm doing this for the first time so I have no idea 😅

When you say "cold", what temperatures are we talking about? Also, is that vapor that keeps forming and going away every now and again?
