The issue is not really about declining or not declining the call of the vice president. The thing is, because of the amount of influence some celebs have they shouldn't be taken advantage of. They should try as much as possible to not put themselves in situations where there will be a question mark about their integrity. Just like pastors do speak with public officials but do not openly show their support or put themselves in compromising positions.
