You have to live in Thailand to understand the veneration and love for the late king who was a truly remarquable monarch and deserved the love and adoration of the Thai people.He was a scientist, linguist, sportsman, writer, photographer,mediator, engineer, proving outstanding in all these fields. He also a true monarch of the people and as a foreigner, I felt the same sadness at his long illness and final departure.
