I fully support the gatesman as he did warn them before he pushed his way through. Even if they did not understand, surely the yell would have made them move. I believe society today has become too self-centred and not being more aware of their surroundings and the significance of the horse guards. I believe teachers should have educated them before bringing them there.

The overwhelming influx of unruly tourists & shocking disrespect to authority is alarming. ORMONDE earned the title KING & the respect he deserved with his DEFENSIVE BEHAVIOR. It’s a behavior that will keep you away & when pushed to the limit, he will bite or kick you to defend the space you invaded. If you backed off, he wouldn’t come to you at all. Tourists who come to London nowadays are so bloody rude!!!! Why can’t they show more respect to the guards???

Too bad about the ignorant Fench students....their teachers should have taught/warned them beforehand and their escorts made sure they behaved. By the way, their President made a country-wide statement asking the French Tourists to respect the British Laws when visiting. As for the request to remove them...they have to obey British laws when in Britain!

The huge Police horses seem to get more respect from the tourists, the tourists, especially Tourist Guides and Teachers NEED to spread more awareness and respect for the Duties of the Guards and their horses.

I do wish that people who are obviously nervous.Of horses Would. just stay away from them. flapping your finger round the horse's face just makes them nervous and could cause a problem. I personally am nervous of Horses and would just Keep my distance.

I mean you look at him and you know which horse it is. The gateman burst through the Maginot Line, just as the Entente Cordiale between GB and France is celebrated on Monday (120 years of peace between the two countries)😅 On another channel I watched a group of French gendarmes led by a tall British Royal Cavalry officer coming out of the gates of Buckingham Palace yesterday, being all starry-eyed (they had been probably taken on a tour) looking back the palace and at all the many tourists that were there, milling in front of the palace, near the great fountain. The officer was taking them to the Wellington barracks, just across the street, where they were met by other British officers. As part of the celebrations, i understood the gendarmes will do ceremonial duty at Buckingham Palace, while some British officers will do ceremonial duty at the Elysée Palace.(i'm sure Mr. Macron is also starry-eyed when he sees them)🤩🤩I'm sorry but they gave me "The gendarmes in America" movie vibes (starring the late and much-regretted French actor Louis de Funes)🤣🤣

IF you are afraid of the horse, do not go up to it, poking, waving, and bobbing around like an idiot. The horse KNOWS you are afraid and will act accordingly. Ormonde knows who has horse knowledge and who does not. If the horse is pushing you away, you better take notice and move away. People act like they are in a Disney movie and that nothing bad is going to happen. Instead of calling them "idiots", try educating the folks who have never had the honor of being around such a large, senscient being.

I've noticed over time with Ormonde is, most of the time, if you approach Ormonde straight on, he doesn't bite at you, but if you go to his sides, he does. The COH knows him well 😂😂😂. I think Buska has a video where he tries it on with the COH who gives him a long hard look and waves a warning finger at him 😂.
