King Salmon Fishing in 4k w/ Underwater Camera

I launched at a busy ramp in the early morning at Half Moon Bay, CA in mid May. Everyone there has high hopes on catching the tasty king salmon. Its a foggy morning and we are using the Raymarine radar to navigate to the salmon grounds. The salmon were active from the start, in the clear water I got my best underwater camera shot yet. I took out two of my RU-vid friends Jun & Ish, make sure you check out there channel! I hope you enjoy the video in 4k resolution!

Great footage, I was out on Saturday 28th out of HMB and heard you on the radio talking to another guy about how he loves your channel, you were very chatty, till he asked you for numbers where you were catching……..dead silence😂😂 You not giving nothing away. How did you do that day?

lol, yeah you were right. After video replay the call on the field is confirmed! Tough using someone elses reel. I have had awkward experience on those reels as well. fun times, we will do it again!

I dont think I will date my videos, i see it hurting me more then helping unfortunaly. If the video date isnt from last couple days people will click off. I have no problem sharing though if you want to email or IG message me after a video posts. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment

FYI, just because a fish has an adipose fish doesn’t mean it is wild. California only marks (ad clips/coded wire tags) 20 percent of hatchery fish. Many fish (must) with no ad Clío are still hatchery origin.

Thanks, yeah I think I will continue to use 4k, the batteries die quicker, the files are incredibly large so takes a long time to transfer and upload. I think its worth it though. Thanks for the support, looking forwards to fishing together in the summer!

4k is amazing, you can tell a difference. It looks like a fun day and very little wind down south. I have my boat at Richmond, but the wind is not helping.

this was filmed in middle of May. I agree the 4k looks great. Please understand it takes 20 hours to create a video like this. Lots goes into it, file transferring, labeling all the different video files, cutting them all together, then doing the audio, then watching it and making adjustments, uploading to youtube, making thumbnail. Generally videos get posted a week after filmed. I work on them after my 2 two kids go to bed. I have a 9-5 job. Thanks for watching

Great looking water Chris, we went out of Bodega on Saturday and couldn’t find any salmon. I might have to trailer to Half Moon Bay before the closer.

I cant wait to start fishing bodega again. Weather seems to always be worse there then the other ocean spots in bay area. When the season resets in end of June I will probably be out that way more often. Thanks for watching
