Another benefit of this one has been that it has exposed me to a smaller size and has helped me feel a little more comfortable with this size. Thanks for WATCHing
The camera shot with the watch in frame with you in the background whilst speaking was really cool. It was a good way of putting the watch forward litteraly and giving it its own display
I love it , James! I would prefer the wine colored version, but you can't go wrong with any color. It is great to see a watch company going smaller instead of the usual trend toward bigger dials. Buying used is a great way to save on a watch that is just priced out of reach for what it is. I love the outdoor shots you used in this most excellent video. I spotted two dingos, a kohala bear and Danny Bonaduce in one of the pear trees. Thanks James!
I love king Seiko , but for the money that a new one costs i would buy a pre owned omega, tag heuer or breitling. For € 700 you could get a 90s or early 2000s tag heuer 2000, link or kirium.
Seiko bracelets are usually rubbish compared with IWC or even Tissot but this one is really really nice and the metal is hard. I can see it without even touching it.
Hot take on a very nice watch and spot on about choice of movement. Seiko a bit cheeky labelling a watch 'King' then banging in a calibre used in their lower end Presage models.
So you're suggestion would be to purchase the old model. I can currently get for a hundred and thirty four bucks at walmart? I'm referring to the new version of the SRPK.
This one refers to the King Seiko. The first of the reissues. But for $134 I’d be grabbing one of those srpk models. I really wish we had Walmart in Australia
Great video James, lovely watch but alas way to small for my wrist. Below 39/40 just looks like a child's watch on my wrist, real pity it is so small as it is divine
In 2019 I bought a Seiko spirit for 1.200$.A couple of years ago,I tried selling for 250$.I had it advertized in 3 different sites,18 months went by and I didn't receive a single offer.End up giving it to my brother in law.
Nice watch James. But price has kept me away. I've been looking for a dress watch than can also be worn casually like the Longines Heritage Flagship and the Montblanc Star Legacy. This king Seiko seems similar.
Unfortunately, you will buy this watch from someone who didn't wore it, so that you can also do the same... not ever ware it. Even if you ware a suit every day... it's way cooler to wear a chrono or a diver for that money. Also, end links on that bracelet are just terrible and they kill the overall design of this watch. You did great with your price, but that's just shows you that these are not in demand.
