hundreds of young people have been shot and killed in this area which is so sad to see. One of the most violent areas in America. What is more crazy for me is. Just a 5 minute drive away from Parkway Gardens, is University of Chicago. The environment there is extremely contrasting to how it is here. So many students happy, living life, studying for a better future. It's so wild to me

Chicago is still beautiful, no matter how much the media portrays us negatively. A lot of bad things happen here, but we're still a city full of strong people with a lot of love to go around. I appreciate you giving us the birds-eye view. It's breathtaking seeing it this way. Much love.

Coming from Australia it fascinates me that people live in these urban environments. We have housing estates but there is something eerie about this. In Australia you can hear birds chirping, the sun is shining and everything is clean. I wanna live hear for a while. It's so boring and sanitized in Australia.

Deekay90, No, It's about 52 blocks from downtown and that's about a 20 minute drive. There were some projects close to downtown but they got torn down.
