Kingdom - 2. Siege Preperations 

Aavak! i have informations for you! of my own discovery! -your horse has a 12-15 second run time. if you let it eat grass (in a clearing, bright green pointy grass) until it raises its head you get a whopping +60 seconds of sprint (bright grey/white particles on the feet if its eaten grass!) -towers are a waste of time. they lock archers to the spot and they don't seem to fire as often, at least -1 arrow compared to grounded troops. en masse the ground still outkills the towers, also flyers pick off archers super fast, takes longer to get a ground unit -the builder shrine appears to multiply the durability of your wall by 4 or 5 times. from ~10 seconds on night 10 to ~40 (first level stone), get as many levels as you can the day OF a big wave (5, 10 etc etc). -archer shrine buffs archers (not sure if damage or accuracy, definitely a HUGE difference). buy it AFTER you send an attack, basically buy the attack and then rush over to the shrine and buy as many as you can. -drop coins to 'bribe' the little devils and they leave you alone, effectively leaving you to do as you wish for the first few nights. -coins don't despawn...leave a few around camps for easy recruitment or buffers for the little devils. -lvl 2 farms have a campfire that lets builders and farmers stay there instead of walking back to the center, lvl 1 farms/farmers walk back

Enjoying this series. Really like the idea of the king not actually DOING anything beyond paying for everything and giving orders. Still, hilarious that even as an administrative King the kingdom falls when there is no crown on your royal head :) Darn symbols of power!

the archers move to the tree line when hunting. so expanding the treeline could hurt more than help.

I love this game! It even has realistic coin physics when they are falling into your coin bag! (That's why you dropped the coin into the water)

One tip I found on steam was if you let your horse eat grass IN YOUR CAMP it was sprint a hell of a lot longer but you have to run while it is eating the grass.

Well, there is a way to tell where an attack will come from. It depends on which side has an active portal (The one with a red center as opposed to a simple rock arch) Im not 100% sure though, a side might have more than 1 portal, but thats what Ive found TIL letting your horse eat grass for a second is more effective than letting it rest for five

avak upgrading your main hall will upgrade your first set of walls and towers upto the lowest teir of stone wall so rather then upgrading those walls and towers the next time you restart try using your coins instead on your camp after you have your first basic walls built it saves you close to 20 coins by the time it gets to the lower stone towers and walls

@Aavak ~ cutting trees has a 50% chance to give you 2 coins or it will just give you on coin back. plus it makes it you have more room to build out words.

omg the deer you just let all that gold run away. you can lead them back to your camp and the hunters would get them. 1deer= 4-5 gold

Also quick note some times the Statues and Door have a tendence to spawn behind Portals you will have to breach the portal ot expand to them. id recromend geting the builder statue first

Heres some advice, Focus on attacking one side as you expand your Econ on one side, so when you attack the other Side the mega wave of shit doesn't touch it, but Don't expect either side not to get breached, to improve walls defensive capablity by geting the Builder satue it improves a Walls Defense by giving it a small shield before it starts to take real damage and the wall gets KO'ed

I like this game, you should upgrade your walls and towers on the right side to help even out the defense.

There is a way to tell from which side the enemy will come... flip a coin! xD

I don't know whether its my volume settings or the fact that I've had animals all my life and just filter it out - but I honestly can't hear any ferret sounds in the background.

Kinda curious, something I noticed before with Kingdom too. I'm on of those plebs that gets a little light in the head if the fps isn't high enough. (Something I really felt back in the day on EE's channel). However, despite the series being 1080@60 (acording to settings), I still feel a little... sicklish when looking at the screen. No clue what's happening there. >.< Otherwise, I love kingdom! I hope one day to play it for myself too.

Do towers increase archer range the more they get upgraded or does it just allow them to shoot over walls

4:00 I get that you're just heading home, but wouldn't it be best to run a bit, then slow down, then run more so that the deer don't turn around and get chased to your hunters?!

dang i jut reffreshed to see this... not gonna watch it though...

I would still build another wall and tower on the right side since those are always option in every game, why would you leave defence for only one wall and tower before your town center, plus those jobless guys tend to wander to scythe seller making them woulnerable to attacks and losing their coins.
