KCD II has been announced to come out by the end of 2024. As someone who's been waiting for the game for the past 6 years, this announcement video got me extremely emotional.
@@CommanderIvyMore fun coming your way before we release this, keep up the good mood, it is really huge and we all are thinking of you, of all the fans. Yes, we want to deliver, second time the better ;) Cheers from WHS design
As a percussionist in an orchestra I very much appreciated how the orchestra was recorded. I can feel the musicians playing and that just hit me differently!
You guys were really secretive about the reveal weren't you? What a amazing surprise! Good to see KCD was such a success! The passion that goes into a game like this deserves recognition!
This was easily one of the best game reveals ever. I usually try to avoid getting to hyped for games but I I’m so stoked for KCD2! I have faith in warhorse delivering . Bg3 was the only game in years I’ve gotten on release and I will absolutely be getting KCD2 on release as well . I mean how can you watch a presentation like this and not love them ? The amount of effort they put into everything and the passion they have damn near brings tears to my eyes . There’s nothing I love more than seeing passionate people get to create the work of their dreams . Also your excitement and energy is absolutely infectious! I just found your channel today and your videos are great !
Everyone should play first one, its so special, you not skill up your character but you became better player yourself its hard to explain you need to play it. :)
This sure would be a good reaction video If she didnt pay to much attention to the chat or whatever it was. She missed the best bits to react on and not listen to what they were saying 😂 so bad lmao
Someone at Warhorse just shared this video in the company chat, saying "this is my favourite reaction video so far"... and I have to agree! This is the kind of stuff that makes you want to give it an extra push and make the game as good as it can be.
🥺🥰 Wow, this is honestly making my day! Cheers and so much love to EVERYONE on the team. It shows how much work and love you have put into KCD II so far, and you deserve to finally talk about it and see how excited we all are about the game. Good luck with the final push, we believe in you! 🤗
@@CommanderIvy We all there loved your reaction. If only we could tell you more than just "We hope you will love the game! It will be one hell of a ride."
@Caladras it was actually me and it's great to see some fellow warhorsians on this comment thread, enjoying the reaction as I do 🐎 @CommanderIvy also did a great job on the next KCD2 video, really nice and uplifting!
@@richardmalatinsky7627 You're just the nicest ever! Thank you for the praise it means THE WORLD! Also thank you for sharing my videos with the rest of the team
KCD is the most underrated game in existence... It had so much unique mechanics! The armor layering, how you learn to read, the alchemy-system, the accurate historical setting, the combat-system (even though it was TOUGH! to learn), the forest enviroment is STILL the best i have ever seen and it looks even better in the second game. Cannot wait!
@@CommanderIvy Here in Czech Republic it's a massive thing, Dan Vávra is responsible even for our the best game ever - Mafia (2002) and he is like game god for us. He is kind of conservative redneck in real life, but that's actually good for those games because he can resist to all those modern gaming trends like switching to stupid unreal engine etc...he knows what he wants.
If you're looking for more information about KCD2, the Czech YT gaming channel "Indian - pořad o hrách" (Indian - a show about games) published a 45 min interview with the chief designer of KCD and KDC2 Prokop Jirsa, where he explains some new features (e.g. crossbows, firearms), the creators' intentions, the game systems (e.g. reputation system) and the dilemmas creators had to solve (e.g. no children). You can find it under the title: "Rozhovor o vývoji Kingdom Come: Deliverance II s vedoucím designérem hry - PVP" (Interview about the development of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II with the game's lead designer - PVP). It's in Czech, but I convinced them to add subtitles. Hurry up before they delete my post here... :)
They had to pay a lot of money for that shooting in st. Barbara cathedral, but I guess it's don in night, it's normaly terrible crowded and you have to pay for enter if I remember it correctly, but it's a few years since I've been there for the last time. There are medieval celebrations in june, so maybe I will revisit it, but I am afraid that KCD2 will bring another hordes of people there. 😀
@@NookiBohemian To že se tam občas mihne někdo kdo hrál hru z toho nedělá "živo." 🙂 Furt je to díra kde se nedá ani nakoupit a bus tam jede 3x za den a na vlak 2 kiláky pěšky.
I liked watching your excitement! This was such an underrated game when it came out. They said "this was what we wanted KCD1 to be." KCD1 is an amazing game, even though it was made by a start-up game studio on a Kickstarter budget... I can only imagine what KCD2 is going to be like! I've spent like almost 2400 hours in the game (I think I'm on my 14th playthrough), and I'm always seeing something new. The next time I play I think I'm going to play as a traveling priest, and see if I can get the pacifist (no kills) and virgin achievements. Luke popped into one of the Facebook groups I'm in and said he had to sign an NDA for like 3 or 4 years... I can only imagine how hard it must have been to keep tight-lipped about it for so long! From what I understand, they've pretty much finished the game and gotten rid of most of the bugs; they're just working on performance improvements now. I'd lay odds they're aiming for a Christmas release. New animals! Cats confirmed (that you can pet!), and I saw a rat! Mutt's back! Alchemy is back, and a new blacksmith mini-game! Father Godwin is back, and joins your group(!), and it looks like Jan Ziska will be a new character that joins you as well. It's also possible that we may see the return of BRIAN BLESSED, as the "pištala" hand cannons that are seen being used in the game are his invention! And I understand they reworked the combat system. (From what I've seen, I'm guessing lunges and headshots will be the same button now, and it will just be left low and high, right low and high guards instead of a five-point system. I understand why they originally went with a 5-point system, because that's how real sword fighting is done, but it's not easy to master with a mouse.)
But what of his fair lass Theresa? If she is not physically in-game, then hopefully she is in in more ways than one. Like, for example, parchment. Why? Because ol' Henry and Theresa had a nice genuine solid relationship! Plus, she could mend clothes for free. Beats the tailor by a mile!
All the KCD fans are coming out of the woodwork lmao! Your response made me smile so much - instant sub! I too am geeking out superhard over this hahahah :D the first is my favorite RPG... Now the sequel, lets goooo! :D
Lets dance together, asking friend-priest for good wine, lets ring the church tower bell at the midnight (funs understand) and then ........................... just you wait MARKVART, HENRY is comming for you, YOU old ................. (piece of something 🙂). For the God, for the fame and glory, for the king Wenceslaw IV
This is what it looks like when devs loves what they are working on. So rare in these days. Others would just show us render clip with some gameplay miliseconds footage with text "go home and preorder"... one of many editions.
I can absolutely imagine myself being this excited when the Witcher IV announcement trailer’ll come out, It wil be amazing! Concerning KCD II, its gonna be WILD!
I am so glad that KCD2 is situated to Kuttenberg. I am living very near that city and know that place very well even its ritch history. Czech paradise is another great place, with pretty nature and many interesting castles. View from tower of Trosky castle is awsome in real life and will be awsome see it in the game too.
I will be a sir Galahad type.A Lancelot type .no not with the ladies lol. But as a good guy who will fight to save the lives of the innocent and to punish the wicked.
I don't think you should've made it as you streamed..or at least turned off the notif sounds..but just my opinion don't worry about it haha, great reaction video nonetheless!
I loved Kingdom come but i replaced my Windows installation and lost my saves after many hours of play. Just didn't have the patience to play again to reach where i left off. Can't wait for this one tho. ps i'll never forget that first fight in the village tho. Over an apple or something if i remember correctly. Sure i did the walk of shame. So awkward but awesome :)
@@cmcc3721 hahahaha the walk of shame! Sorry you lost your save files for the fist game. It’s a good thing that they’ll catch you up on everything you need to know in KCD2 :)
Such a great reaction. This is by far my most anticipated game. The things you could do in the first game blew my mind. I remember one quest were I was a judge trying to stop this women from burning at the stake. All the side quests blew my mind and the main story made me cry as well.
Dammit. Once I heard you say "...release date", I thought, "Delay." I know we hold them to a higher standard, but I think any of us would appreciate delay over subpar quality. And any producer would know that. So..., I'm a bit skeptical in a 2024 release. Yet, I'm also hopeful for the quality they promise and semi-okay with any delay to accommodate any lack of production. A sad, yet necessary, cycle.
I played the first KCD three times already, make it a quatruple this year to connect it with the continuing story :D! And yeah, the first game already was kinda massive, so two times the size...means two times the fun! P.S. I always play as an archer because my swordplay sucks xD.
I need to start playing the first game again so that my Henry rides into the wood right in time for the second game for the smoothest transition ever 😅
@CommanderIvy Gotta respect that somehow, I'm sorry for the comment but it really hurt me for some reason lol, did you ever react to "The armouring of a Space Marine" ? If you can't stop your excitement with this video, then you can't be quiet on this one lol
@@yourimorrien2624 haha it's ok, we content creators can be a bit annoying at times. Thin line between entertaining and rage inducing :D Thank you for keeping a nice attitude afterwards, though, that's super rare. And no, I cannot say I'm a Warhammer fan, but maybe I shall get into it at some point. The new game looks phenomenal.
pls be quiet and pls dont talk over the game devs like you are doing almost all the time while watching this cause then you miss out on info about the game and you miss out on nature and game shots that was from the game😉
