I think the wooden "Church" as you described it is an upgrade to where it'll then turn to stone, which then means you can build stone walls and towers and the castle.
Don't make too many walls farther out. What you want are more towers first, because they upgrade the archer's accuracy and make that archer invulnerable. By the way there is an arch in the forest to the right. DO NOT spend money on it until your settlement reaches that far. Cutting trees allows you to enlarge your settlement if you haven't noticed yet. I'm still trying to puzzle out what upgrading the camp actually does for you.
I think I found a suitable strategy for me. I finally destroyed 2 portals on the left and still targeting the first first portal on the right (for now).....Some of my strategy are: 1. For the beginning, We have to aim expanding the wall to the highest level. Expand the wood statue to stone quickly (in 3rd day for me, the 5th day will be blood moon). It will require some money. The easy way to get much money is to herd the deers to your archers (near the base) repeatedly. It will ensure you get enough money to expand. After that targeting to build 2 farm on your attacking direction. 2. Always recruit people every day as much as possible (usually on the right map, 2 camp on the right and 2 camp on the left). Pile up your soldiers every day. After that make them as archers. For me 6 builder, 8 farmers, and the others are archers. 3. DO NOT DESTROY THE CAMPS no matter what, it is your blood, without this you will deplete your strength. TO EXPAND, SKIP the camp (usually leave one tree on the left and on the right), build the wall on the far side of the camp. You have to scout which area can be built and then send your builder to build it step by step, do not rush it because it expose you the risk of losing the builders due to the distance between your last wall. 4. Just focus attacking the portal with your knights in one direction. If you attacking on left, DO NOT hire knights on the opposite area because it will specialized 6 archers to be the attacking flank (usually they avoid if there are attackers) and it will reduce your defense capability. 5. In futher time when you get a steady ton of money, always invest in Archers and Builder statue. 6. In first portal, you will need just 2 knights 6 archers to destroyed it. But in the second portal I need 4 wave of attacking soldiers ( 5 x 2 knights and 6 archers). 7. For the beginning. Avoid to upgrade your tower to the highest level in middle area because it will lock 3 soldier (they just stand in the tower and dont help the defense in front line). But in front line remember to upgrade it o the max. 8. With steady resources from recruit camps, you will pile up huge amount of soldier. You will expel all the attacker even in the blood moon or post destroying portal . You will rain archers to the enemies include the flying monsters, they will die fast. That's my strategy, I am still attacking the right wing now.
+Friandy Parulian 1. Don't bother herding the deer. That's just a waste of precious time that you could be using on something else like recruiting, exploring, or building. 2. You may have to destroy one or two camps to unlock farming areas, depending on how your map spawns. It's certainly ideal though to expand beyond at least one camp and keep the said camp by leaving at least 1 tree on either side of the camp. There's also usually more than just two camps on each side. 3. It's always a good idea to upgrade all fortifications to max in order to have multiple fallback positions. As for towers, it's also advisable to upgrade them to max so long as you have plenty enough archers. This ensures that you have backup defenses in the unlikely event your front line fortifications are breached.
They should add self defense were the king gets a sword and does a lot of damage but close range and where the queen get a bow and can shoot further and has to charge the bow to arch it over to the target by holding down the mouse button and letting go to shoot the arrow when it's in the right trajectory
Hey zueljin... I noticed the people you hire pick up the first tool they come across so you can decide which tool they pick up. If you wanted more bows you could have hired people from the right side of your village that way the first things they cross are the farmer station and archer station depending on the stock of tools you have.
looks like a great game, and the "church" you found is one of the relics in this game, if you went out further you'd find a relic that upgrades your builders build rate (you can upgrade that relic 3 times)
I can see how this can be a really immersive game. I was getting right into it when the video stopped. Not sure if its because of the game or because of how cool Zurljin sounds. Love the videos. Cant wait for more.
Oh god, finally someone competent playing this game! cant believe we came to this but apparently these days its not so easy to find someone who can figure out how to play a god damn computer game
+Kahil Jadresko Yup,it's kinda dumb/weird how he's trying to teach us how to play at first but later on he has no idea what he's really doing or what's happening >.>
I feel proud I finished the game already :3 Anyways, very cool video you have a great commentator voice :D thanks a lot for making the video, I enjoyed it ^.^
game have more portals...maybe bug...but I found portal left behind second...if you go to the most left, you cant get over the bridge(like right side) but if you stay here and wait for zombies, they smash your crown on the bridge and then you see another portal!
+max brain They are both good ol' boys. Zueljin is from Louisiana and Freeman is from western Mississippi (raised there, not born). So they both have similar regional accents.
