Dvnbly X2 its still sad though. Even if he gets a happy ending doesnt change the fact that he had to go through all this stuff before he could have his happy ending.
@@stygy9929 pretty sure baymax dark is an OC from square, and the titans aren't characters. davyy jones is the only one and he's probably the best disney world boss (and he's a human boss, how curious).
It's funny but the reason Roxas doesn't know about that is because the way Sora learned he could bring back the keyblade after throwing it was that he threw it away and it teleported back into his hand, he gets from this the idea to make strike raid, this is why Roxas doesn't teleport his keyblades back after he throws them away, because in his days on the org he didn't run into that situation. Roxas does see his keyblade come back after throwing it away on his section at the start of KH2 but he probably forgot with the whole being forced back into Sora deal, so the idea of "Oh I can probably use this in a fight" probably didn't come to his mind then.
this is the most bizarrely executed roxas fight ive seen. VERY different playstyle than myself and all the other speedrun/playthru channels ive seen do it. some combos arent ended, just double jumped away from, lots of short glides... very weird, but its kinda interesting seeing such an unorthodox playstyle
The way he kept reverting from Limit Form after only like 7 seconds tells me he wasn't exactly trying to play his best. I don't know what the hell that was about.
Yeah this playstyle subverted my expectations at every turn. That just goes to show you how flexible the battle system is, leaving so much room to be creative.
@@naughtmeinam4603 Donguri tends to go for style more often than sheer optimization. Makes sense since he's one of the best DMC players around, and personally I find it more exciting and interesting to watch. Some people end up just looping the bosses to death, and while its impressive, fights like this are more engaging the donguri way.
@@LongSinceDead1 well, I can understand your point, but to me it felt like playing it very safe and a bit bland, using trinity limit so much. It only looked really cool when roxas was doing the side keyblade attack. Like I feel magic would have made combos a bit more spicy for example. Definitely unique tho
All these years later and this fight is still cool as hell. I won't ever get tired of playing or watching this fight and all the fighting styles that are possible.
I almost broke my controller a few times doing lv 1 crit it was the first time ive ever done a challenge run like that i used to love just getting to lv 99 and clearing mobs in seconds now i enjoy the technicality and rather struggle.. but roxas... fuck roxas i finally beat him then got to xignar and i just said fuck it i couldnt do another boss grind so soon lmao
My friend threw me into this fight as an introduction to KH2, in a bizarre twist I did it without the second chance ability, I think it was called “Once More”?
The WindyREDPanda it’s fairly easy too do, takes timing, have guard pierce (or w.e the ability is i forgot) equipped it allows an attack that breaks their revenge i-frame attacks plus closes a pretty big gap between you and the enemy
*Me : saw this vid* *Video : kh2 sora vs roxas critical mode* And here i am, turning on my laptop, and opening pcsx2...to play kh2 (i know it's illegal, cuz my ps2 was broken for about a year ago)
Eh I think kh 3 was better I just think this game has much better bosses and difficulty but kh 3 overall I think is better even if it lacks in a few regard (no tucking Olympis colosseum and a super small twilight town)
Imagine if Square Enix made us a Kingdom Hearts game for our phones that looked like (Dream Drop Distance) and had Bluetooth controller support? I would play/buy that in a heartbeat.
I think seeing the Japanese version of this makes me feel really bad for Roxas, two of his closest friends just vanished from his life. I know he had Axel/Lea with him sometimes but he had to live his life without Xion which makes this really sad. Roxas sounds really heartbroken when he says his battle quotes and when he says to Sora why he was chosen.
While the combo line would be impressive, the fight would be segmented by scripted events, breaking said combos. Unless it's that weird non boss at Caelum. (Is that how it's spelled?)
I'm not sure why youtube randomly started recommending me kingdom hearts fights recently, but they were all universally pretty awful. I was wondering how long it would take to get recommended something decent and then I see one by the legend himself. Finally a video i didn't get frustrated watching.
Man, do I wish we had the Japanese dubs available overseas for these games. They're available on the Japanese & other Asian releases with the English dubs, so including them on the Western releases wouldn't bee too hard. Hell, they had multiple dubs in FFXV's releases. At LEAST they should be in a DLC pack. I'd pay $10 for a DLC pack of the Japanese dubs of the games, even if I'd have to download the Japanese versions of the cutscenes. I'd make room on my consoles' hard drives.
@@insertnamehere9153 Gotta disagree on that one. The characters pause too long between lines. Kairi, Aqua, and Axel are made into jokes with their incompetence. Xehanort's motives are flipped on their head to give him a sympathetic finish. There are several plotlines that are introduced solely for the sequel, and many of the standing ones are unresolved. Pretty much all of the combat is focused on flashy crowd control with the only variety being in the spectacle. Arendelle and Corona completely sideline the trio to ridiculous degrees (Sora, just cast Cure on Flinn. You're being as bad as Donald.). The fact that the entire plot is just faffing about until it rushes the end. KH3 is great... for half a game. As is it's a step down from its predecessor.
@@insertnamehere9153 And what is your opinion based on? If it was any of these things being wrong then your opinion is an uneducated one. Just as pointing out contradictive evidence to someone who says the earth is flat. What a cheap cop out it would be if they just responded "Its just my opinion.". Just like it's a cheap cop out here.
@@Gunzerkingidiot Clearly you aren't paying attention I meant that the game on it's own is good and that the dlc will make it better just cause you didn't get what you wanted doesn't mean it's disappointing.
@@danielhikari5128 That's how being disappointed works...I didn't get what I wanted. Now, I didn't want much, since I had no idea how the game would've been given it took nearly a decade and a half. But from the small bits of info we got leading up to the release it felt like it could've been satisfactory, Riku has a new keyblade, multiple form changes, Kairi is training to be a proper wielder. What we got was no actual explanation for Riku's new keyblade being what it is. The form changes were more flashy lights than actual gameplay, and Kairi got used for the plot device again. These are just a few examples of what was wrong with kh3.
@@Gunzerkingidiot Hmm while I don't really think anything wrong with the gameplay I do admit there are some things unexplained or disappointing while hopefully dlc will fix that I do wish it was already fixed in the standard game however I don't really see the whole game as a disappointment since there were more positive things than negative and it was great game overall I do understand and respect your perspective though.
You really expect me to believe this is the Roxas that you fight at The World That Never Was? That's BS I beat this game on every difficulty, that is data Roxas, you just used editing to show the cutscenes at the beginning and end, look it's great if you want to make a video like this, but don't lie about who you are fighting
It's stated in his video description in Japanese that it is a fight with Data Roxas and that the video is edited. I'm not saying that it's your fault for not being able to comprehend Japanese, but at least you could have asked instead of accusing someone of trying to lie without checking the facts.
