Tbf they'd didn't put any of his moves in the game so they'd be making a character from scratch which would take a long time to happen. It will probably be added to the mods but it'll take a few years.
You know, in a bygone era of gaming, you wouldn't have to mod this in, once beating the game you'd get the playable characters as an unlock, built into the game. I feel old now.
@@elioalbertopereyra4702 25 here. I also kind of miss cheat code menus. There used to be some really good, extra effort things put into games, some of them bigger things like bonus levels, some character unlocks, and then there were silly things, like I remember Star Wars: Battle for Naboo having a code that turned you pink.
To be fair, just from looking at the gameplay, its very obvious these characters weren't built in the slightest for regular mob battles unlike Sora and Aqua. Hell Ventus, Axel and Xion clearly weren't meant to be playable in the first place.

@@gontandutry3396 nah that's the best part she'd be teamed up with Axel as the early game Tutorial and have to build up all the skills having Sora and Riku relatively buffed up when you get them, rather than the typical, "lose all stats and spells because x event" At least that's how I imagined it somewhere over the 13 years of waiting between 2 and 3.
@@littlebigb5370 For the tutorial yes and I tought and I agree. But for the rest of the game ? Not very sure. I mean, she had masters who give her training, no need her to go outside until the final fight. And Riku was technicaly buff and Sora didn't lose all his capacities from the previous games and you can see that when you play with him: He still has moves from Dream drop distance or had basics moves from the beginning of KH1 or 2. Most of that, it's a numbered game, so basicaly you will follow Sora. But for the next, there is real chance for her to have more spotlight.
@@gontandutry3396 man trying to convince KH fans that Kairi would’ve gotten wiped harder than she did in the game if she tried anything crazy is a task within itself. I get that ppl want Kairi to be like another Aqua but she wasn’t even a Keyblade wielder until the end of 3D I think
I was initially annoyed Axel lost his chakram's, they were one of my favourite weapons in the franchise, but I'm glad his keyblade style is based off of them
Watching this really make me wish the next kh game have your party members be all keyblade wielders amd not disney character and you can switch between them.
I remember back in CoM GBA, the debug mode lets you play as Riku while fighting Sora's bosses and vice versa. Playable characters are only stuck on their respective storyline paths. Might be the similar case here. Now if only there's a KH game that actually lets you pick characters like hiw 358/2 days did + a KH3 multiplayer mode, it could've been the best Post-Game content. Yeah imagine a 358/2 Days Character Selection screen with KH3 roster + Mirage Arena with balances and a Keyblade Graveyard Battle Royale Mode with your own customized character instead of changing armor colors of BBS trio.
@@Flazermov but she isn’t really light based, she only had light powers because she was draining powers from Roxas, so technically those attacks are from Roxas. Even in her keyblade graveyard boss fight she only uses physical attacks with no magic such as only slashing with her keyblade
Saw a comment a while that a Mirage Arena-like mode should've also been DLC and that's where you can play as the different characters. Guess modders are giving us that now.
I wanted to make a fair run on KH3, so I tried to get Sora "canon" status and abilities. Let me explain: every party member in KH3 (except Donald, Goofy and Disney characters) have 44 Atk stat, 45 Mag stat and 42 Def stat. Almost everyone have different hp quantity, and everyone have 100 mp. In the dlc, Sora can be a party member, so I wonder if anyone ever saw his stats/abilities when he is: I really wanted to recreate them in the main game, just to have an actual limit for him. Unfortunately, Sora has many more hp than the others, but that's not so important. What I really want is giving him the right abilities and stats
It always bothers me how people complain about too many keyblades one the kryblade graveyard and two yes alot of characters have keyblades but only original characters from kingdom hearts the only exception is mickey and yed sid (not really since he never shows it) but mickey is the poster boy for Disney so it makes sense
Christ Riku really got the short end of the stick when it came to his moveset and he was the second most played character in the base game. - Dark Firaga’s a GM command - His Shotock is a Ctrl+C of Aqua’s - No power-up - Only spells are Thunder and Cure.
Kh3 riku is garbage which hurts me as a riku fan guess because he's only playable 2 times they didn't feel like putting much work on him but kairis significantly better dispute being technically weaker they did my boy dirty

I mean just saying, I feel it would be something else, if KH3 had a debug room for those who met all the achievements/ unlocked all trophies, allowing them to tinker with features. Or maybe play as a certain character within the NG+ I can'r be the only one… right?
Hey, um...next time, maybe pick somewhere where you _won't_ get your combos constantly interrupted? Or use a mod so you can't get staggered out? This is really freaking awesome, and all, but the whole time I was like, "Wait, is THAT a full combo? Is THAT a full combo?" because you kept getting hit out of it.
