thats not a heartless. Its a Keyblade wielder from the keyblade war era who became a nightmare due to being lost to darkness. its a glimpse at future enemies in the KH series for the war VS foretellers. imagine if when sora defeats these guys hes also healing the hearts of keyblade wielders of the past *and possibly waking them up from their nightmare*
Casual reminder that in DMCV, Dante can unlock an ability called Quadruple S that can only be used when your combo rank is SSS. The style meter isn't just in Dante's mind. It's actually giving him power.
Your level of hability is just hilarious and shows the gameplay potential this game has perfectly. It´s a shame that its level of difficulty doesn´t encourage people to play with higher skill.
sadly this is the same problem every main entry has in its original state, not really until a final mix does a main game truly show their potential, after everything is balanced like kh2 final mix did with kh2.
I think I'm starting to understand these formchanges more now. Keyblade Wielders at some point in their lives will learn how to transform their keyblades forms. Though none of them have had things such as Drive Forms like Sora. The reason Sora's clothes are Changing color is probably because he's tapping into his old Drive Forms as he changes his Keyblades most likely because how similar they are in nature, which is to say, changing the forms and appearance in order to gain more power, abilities and gain more of a versatility.
The thing about drive forms is the ability was given to Sora BECAUSE of the clothes he was given by the Fairies. The same is said for KH3 Sora's clothes. The Fairies managed to tap into some strange magic that allowed Sora's keyblades to change form as if they were reaching their own true power
I honestly like the KH3 combat system more than the KH2 combat system. It's just that KH3 doesn't push you to make use of all of the mechanics until the final Xehanort fight and the Dark Inferno boss. KH3 has a lot to offer and I predict that a lot of the people who hate on KH3 will change their mind once Square releases Critical Mode. A KH3 version of the Cavern of Remembrance would also be nice.
Not even those fights push you to make use of anything other than blocking, and you barely need to do any of that. This fight can be unga-bunga'd 30 times over so long as you hit square every once in a blue moon. Hopefully Critical Mode changes that, but KH3 doesn't have a lot to offer other than flashy finishers and shotlocks.
The Kingdom Key I quite literally didn’t guard until the young Riku/xig bar fight because I finally felt dodging was too slow and being in the air wasn’t an option
@Jaded Dude I totally agree. I cant get the timing right on switching Keyblades because of how slow it is...and it always throws me off. Ive been watching alot of combat videos and have improved significantly...but man...those Keyblade switches suck :(
Rinoiya Nah, it depends on the player’s play style and if they’re as good as this guy is in the video. He’s able to cheese this boss because he knows his attack pattern and when he’s able to interrupt and counter attack him.
@@maoetsu the boss is so easy that anyone could probably do it though. Seriously, I got him at the 2nd try, Proud Mode, 64Lvl, he never made me fall to 1HP. And there's a chance I'd beat him during the 1st time, if I wasn't 20 levels backwards.
Idk why people say this is as bad or worse then the floatieness in bbs. But I honestly feel like it's a perfect balance. I find myself bored and just running around then worlds fighting. It's so satisfying.
Y'know... Usually, with KH secret bosses, I get hit once and kinda wonder when I'm gonna get to play the game again. I'm glad you made me wonder when HE was gonna get to play the game again.
Wow just wow, I have never thought of using Sora's abilities this way every move was amazing and that level of disrespect with the camera made me laugh but wow that air step combo and switching into those keyblades with those perfect dodges just well done
This game is so fun, and fighting is just amazing. Only problem is difficulty is nonexistent considering you max out or not, the ultima weapon is outright unfair too. Literally one shotted the first phase of the final boss with shotlock.
KH3's combat is my favorite of the series and nothing will change my mind about it. So fluid and brimming with detailed and fun combos. These are the types of combat mechanics I was waiting for and it's finally here. Bless Nomura. 😭

Anyone remembers that Kh1 was the first game in the series and it wasn't lore heavy neither having an awesome gameplay to prove itself ? Anyone remembers that there was still Coliseum that had stuff to do and there was also Sephiroth, Ice Titan and a whole lot of other cool bosses you had to defeat in hades Cup ? Anyone remembers that fm edition of this same game added two bosses one of them finaly being lore related ? it took it Us release to have most of these sub bosses, Internationnal KH1 release I mean, and Kh1 fm adding the lore secret bosse in the followig year to release in japan, Coliseum was here since the beginning and the ff characters were lore related in this game… Should have take 3D Julius it's not a heartless but it's not lore related
YES!!! This level of skill is AMAZING, just what i wanted to see from KH3. A skill only matched by the speedrunners i saw from GDQ fighting KH2 Data Org.

Just beat him since I hopped back on this game. Tried like 10 times followed your strats and nailed it after my 11th attempt . I had to finish him off using rage mode... 😅😅. I used just kingdom key also
Sora's Heartless was a generic Shadow (and I think it appeared again in Recoded with an appearance similar to Anti/Rage Form). People have been saying this might be the Heartless some guy from the mobile game (dude who appeared before Sora started keyblade surfing on the Final Demon Tide), but the bio for this enemy implies that there's more than one of them.
Good video and showcase of skill for sure. It's just sad that the endgame for this installment has devolved into finding out who can finish this one unique "boss" with the most style.
Have one save file with Lv 40, just remove all of my accessories and I'm good to go. But for this boss, I just keep fighting him and try different thing. that's it.
when i beat him on critical he was real low, i had one hitpoint left in negative form, no potions left, mp recharging, no focus. we ended up participating in a final clash, and i was able to come out on top, it was pretty intense
I have to admit, in terms of style, I prefer this game’s combos, everything just looks insanely incredible! Though I kinda like the simplicity the previous numbered titles’ combos had.
This entire time, this guy kept dying before I could get all my form change stacks going, and I was wondering what I was doing wrong. Turns out that I had to hit him with the base keyblades first lmao
