J Michael Tatum and I covered the Kingdom Hearts 3 theme, Don't Think Twice! As of this video being posted, only the first two verses have been released, so we recorded all we could!
The Japanese version of the song is known as Chikai (誓い). Perhaps we could be persuaded to cover that one, too. Hmm....

I'm super impressed with the clever meter change you've done here. It's like a drunk-style 3/4 almost, but I'm counting 5/8 with every bar and it's such a cool take on the song. A bit less predictable and a bit more longing imo. Love it!

The begging defines every RU-vidr who has to awkwardly stand in front of the camera and wait for the intro to be done and they dont want to stand still but dont know what to do....so they do whatever. Also this was great awesome, though i didnt know Michael played the piano... also im coming to steal your dog! This is my deceleration! I am coming! sooooooooooooooooooooooon

Whoa. That was pretty good. Are you guys familiar with Kingdom Hearts or something? Have you guys played the previous games? Sorry, I'm just a HUGE, die-hard Kingdom Hearts fan and I can't wait for three to come out. You did very well.

Thank you! Great question! I played the first one when I was younger and loved it. I'm also a really big Utada Hikaru fan. Her songwriting has been really influential to my studies in Japanee and as a musician. I've watched my younger brother play the second KH, but really should play through it myself before the third one comes out!
