I'd want a CGI film that takes place after the events of 3. Something similar to Advent Children. Maybe something that shows us what the gang was doing for that 1 year after Sora's disappearance. Specifically showing us what the Twilight squad and Wayfinder trio have been up to!

anime would be sick but simultaniously i exclusively watch my anime in japanese. ( i usually play japanese games in english tho if the voices are competent enough due to reading while fighting really tests your attention.) so if the anime comes out i would watch it in japanese so hearing the disney characters speak japanese is gonna be funny as fuck. then again, in the summer we are getting a suicide squad isekai anime so i guess i'll already experience western characters speaking japanese ( and well. rick and morty anime being a thing too)

When I imagine a Kingdom Hearts anime coming out in this day and age, it's a little different from what most people might envision. For one it's more of an OVA that lasts about 4 episodes, and all of it pretty much takes place entirely on Destiny Islands, playing out as a sort of extended prologue that even shows how Sora and his friends (family's?) lives are like on the main island for the first couple episodes, as well their school lives while introducing new characters who have their own mini arcs. If they're not afraid to be cultural, it'd fun to watch Sora and Riku compete in a Kendo match. Sora would also receive his Keyblade by the end of the second episode, but the island won't get destroyed mere moments afterwards; Sora would have time to attempt to help as many people as possible. It basically all culminates into this huge fight with the Darkside in the end, with steller animation idealy on the level of Kimetsu no Yaiba 😅

If it IS true, I hope the series gets an anime adaptation and in chronological order, starting with either Union Cross or Birth by Sleep. I would love to see the anime animated by either Studio Bones, Studio Trigger, Geno Studio, A1 Pictures or WIT Studio, in 2D animation. That would be amazing to see!

I wouldn’t be surprised if we actually get some sort of Kingdom Hearts media (either movie or Tv Show) since Video Game adaptation are becoming bigger than ever and Disney is definitely gonna want to cash in on it, I’m hoping it’s either an anime series or film like Advent Children in the KH universe with Sqaure Enix producing the show and Nomura involvement as either director or producer since I really don’t trust modern Disney to tackle a KH story on their own.

I hope it's something original, e.g. what was Sora doing after DDD or Lauriam and Elrena reuniting. I don't think an adaptation of Union χ would work though, at least not without the story being overturned to fit into the format because the entire gameplay of it was part of the lore, like how the Medals worked or the concept of PVP or that the Player collecting all that Lux through playing and therefore leveling up was strong enough to fight Ephemer and Skuld in the end. I just feel like it would take so much depth from the story and worldbuilding in the game.

I would love to see a canon anime series that expands the story and lore. The Fallout TV show was phenomenal and proved how effective expanding existing games’ worlds could be. And if this anime series had some returning characters that we’ve seen in the games (Riku, Roxas, etc.) then their voice actors can voice them again with no concerns over recasting.

A Kingdom hearts anime would be very interesting, especially with who they'd get handle the Disney Characters voices. Adapting the manga would be the easiest way to go, maybe add in stuff from the games for length if needed, and boom they could easily make a 13(or more) episode season out of KH1.

If Kingdom Hearts is getting a theatrical movie then it should be a Kingdom Hearts Union X, Kingdom Hearts Dark Road, or Kingdom Hearts The Missing Link movie, but if its a TV series then it should be a anime adaptation of the Manga

Personally I don't see them doing anything that DOESN'T star Sora as their very first adapted project, so out of the 3 options it kinda would have to be the adaptation of a game, probably 1

If they do a TV series, I hope it's a retell adaption of the games. Anime, CGI, it doesn't matter to me. I just hope it looks good and follows the games perfectly. OR EVEN BETTER, THE MANGA! YES! And bring back all the voice actors from the games. PLEASE! If they follow up with a movie, that can be a continuation of some sort. Maybe the events that took place before, during or after Kingdom Hearts 4. And lending up to 5. Or even Yozora's story! NOW THAT BE AMAZING!

I'd be down for one of skyward wing's animated series ideas where they show case like different mini episodes similar to the mickey mouse shorts. Just seeing all the characters embracing their disney side and getting up to some zany adventures together would be great!

"HMK reporting in from Timeless River with another Kingdom Hearts video." If something were to actually form, a canon story going into the Lost Master Arc could be great especially if it's something that can't exactly fit into the KH4. I'd also be fine with the retelling of the mobile games to catch people up because you know that will be a major complaint that gets thrown around. Both of these options feel quite productive in engaging more people to the series. If nothing comes out of this, I'm fine with that, too.

I want Unchanined/Union X/etc OR VERUM REX BABY LET'S GET IT. Honestly, those two both need to be done and can even be alternating. So one season of Unchained, then one of Verum Rex, as we go through Lost Master Arc. Disney+ would literally blow up.

I suppose my no. 1 preference would be an adaptation of Union X though I I certainly wouldn't mind a straight up adaptation. Not the biggest fan of the idea of a brand new project, though if it looks interesting I'd be open to it. That being said I would prefer if some folks from Square that worked on the series were involved to an extent. At the very least have Nomura be like a consultant. Kinda like how Oda was involved with Netflix's One Piece.

As cool as it would be to get an adaption of the Union Cross/X/Backcover story I don’t think they’ll do it simply because Disney most likely would want it to appeal to newcomers and a story like that would only attract KH fans. And anyway I’m still holding out the hope they’ll adapt that storyline into a console game lol

I may be in the minority here, but I'm not really a fan of a concept of a KH anime or show. KH as a series has grown so much, and condensing it down to a movie or show format would kinda make it feel corporate to me. Plus I fear it would only bring more confusion into the Fandom since they might get the TV show and games' canons mixed up. The ONLY exception is the X saga since it can definitely and deservingly work as an anime.

Y'all gotta realize RPK doesn't really have a great track record outside of trailer dates. Unless someone else with a better record comes along to back up both KH4 2025 and the adaptation thing, which prolly won't happen cuz not many "insiders" give a shit about KH to leak stuff unless it's KH3, this should remain a grain of salt.

If Disney didn't have a say in anything Kingdom Hearts related you can kiss those Disney characters and Disney worlds goodbye 👋🏽, plus there would be no Kingdom Hearts mobile games, Kingdom Hearts Manga series, Kingdom Hearts Merchandises, and The Kingdom Hearts console games would just be a Final Fantasy knock off and no one wants that
