First i'm taking down the hardest one to complete... Terra, this was a nightmare but it was fun XD store.playstation.com/#!/tid=... Come join our Discord Server and have a good time chatting: / discord
It's mostly cause those bosses were not meant to be fought alone, and they needed mysterious figure to be the strongest boss. So instead of powering down the bosses that were meant to be fought with other people, they decided that Young X should have many annoying abilities.
Exactly why I love this game. The unpredictability of the bosses always makes things more interesting than your standard bread & butter of other KH titles.
@@blazeredraw Agreed! I also wish they had kept the multiplayer feature in BBS! It would be great to have a KH game with local and online multiplayer!:)
Highly agree, specially if the online goes even outside of the Arena and 2 friends can join in at any time as Ven or Aqua as you play through story mode or fight the secret bosses (Or suffer through the Board Games :D) when I become a game dev imma do that, also include a versus mode where one group play as the heartless and occasionally a few bosses show up at the same time for the players to take control of.
@@blazeredraw well, other players joining your character's story mode would not work as it would put their character (Aqua or Ven if you're Terra) in areas they should not be able to access, for example in Cinderella's world Ven is stuck as a "mouse" in Lady Tremaine's house
Specially mysterious figure, he deals low damage cause he attacks so much, so the higher health and defense don't do much to counter the amount of attacks he throws at you.
Eraqus' Armor is probably the best-designed secret boss fight in BBS because he doesn't use really cheap annoying gimmicks and you're encouraged to block and fight like you should be. Unlike the others which have some very annoying attacks, his only punish you if you get careless.
I wish we got to fight No Heart (Xehanort Armor) and the Master’s Armor (Eraqus Armor) in KH3, I think they totally would’ve made for great boss fights
Y'know, I've been rewatching a lot of Stickman Sham's BBS vids, and I think that's got something to do with how this two year old vid popped up outta nowhere. Good stuff tho, BBS has some horribly balanced bosses/combat in general
The x-blade transformations Xehanort had in Re:Mind were neat but I think the No Heart keyblade transformations were cooler. It almost seemed like keyblade integration as if his armor fused with the keyblade.
@vilefachero Si no me equivoco, tienes que completar el juego y hacer todo lo posible en el Mirage Arena, después compras una tarjeta en la tienda que está ahí mismo.
No Heart (actually all the mirage arena exclusive bosses) is only really properly designed when there's three people but they took out multiplayer in the HD ports
It has a cheaty value for comboing a boss. It goes with button inputs. For example you do 3 hits and in the 4th he is supposed to retaliate. Well even if you don't hit him with the 4th and just press attack he will automatically dodge. And they do that a lot messing you up. Shitty game design.
My favorite boss of this game has to be No Heart. I feel like he was the least broken secret boss, at least in my experience. Yeah, you still need to spam dodge a lot, but in my experience, he was really fun to fight
There was sometimes where I felt like armor of eraqus and no heart were more annoying than mysterious. Like at least I can hit mysterious at times. Armor of eraqus just has these weird I-frames and awkward movements and no heart....never......stops.....moving!
There are not enough words to describe the envy, the shock and the sheer admiration i have for your approach. No classic strats, no cheese, just staright up fun and skileld gameplay. I saulte you
You should check my vid about beating Julius without Balloonra (With Sora and Riku) XD I use the commands I built up as the game went by, it wasn't till later that I discovered that Balloonra even existed and yeah it's easier to beat bosses using Baloonra. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wBKNsJtWDvw.htmlsi=3TJGe7DGs81M6Fpl
@@andrewwhyte7130 The game was so dang confusing all the time XD So many things aren't told to you so I had to look up so many things in the internet to get 100% of the game complete.
I just love bosses that shrewd your health to 1 no matter your level, break out of your combos at random, can knock you out of once more for some reason, can stun you, can heal, and can knock your commands away. Peak game design right here!
@@blazeredraw same here. I’ve played every game multiple times on the hardest difficulty. Gotten them all to 100% at least once. I’ve even done KH1, KH2, and KH3 (on Proud and Crit) on level 1. I STILL have issues with the superbosses in BBS and DDD it’s ridiculous.
@@johnsargent7706 The big Frankenstein Pete monster is impossible without ballon, he'll keep nullifying your deck untill all you can do is simple attacks just because of bad game design, I'd have a timer on those and when it ends you can use the command again, but SE decided that that command is just out forever. The only reason ballon exists is to be OP cause they failed in game design against that boss.
@@blazeredraw I think there is a timer on them, but it lasts so long that it won’t be back by the time you either win or die lol. And yeah, that boss sucks too. During his punch combo, it can literally just kill you if he misses a hit and then you get hit after you begin to fall normally. Once more will just stop working once you enter the normal fall animation. Problem is, most of the time you still can’t move or heal yet, so you just get killed and there’s nothing you can do about it. Same thing happens sometimes in BBS and KH3 as well.
Definitely, the only reason of why I got to lvl 99 was cause I was trying to beat mysterious figure with the Thunder surge technique but it never worked, when I was lvl 89 or something I just tried the best abilities that I knew and I beat him first try.
@@blazeredraw omg bro don't scare me. I know I'm a good player but I hope that guy doesn't wreck me. I want the plat so bad terra is the only one left.
@@johnpantag472 just use your fave abilities and play with the fighting style you play with, don't use any techniques or figting styles from the internet cause you'll just end up losing.
watching this video reminds me how much I hated the armor of Eraqus and No Heart in particular. I read in the comment section that these bosses were meant to be fought with a group of friends (I had completely forgotten about the multiplayer), but I still make my case. I didn't have friends to play this game with, but I wanted that 100%, which means I had to plough through all of theses bosses on my lonesome and Eraqus and No Heart were just very poorly designed.
By the time I played it in the PSP there wasn't even anyone who had the game in PSP lol I honestly don't even remember how many hours it took me to beat them all
@@gersomvanslooten9456 if it were me, 80 of those hours were all probably slowly going through all the boards in the game 3 times or more to get a single, very specific ability
Terra really is a bastard to play as huh? Or are the bosses in BBS really just that bs that they're a nightmare to beat as Aqua and Ventus as well? Been a hot minute since I played BBS but I remember Terra was the only one that felt like a pain to play as because he can't dodge roll.
I have a question about the fight with Eraqus's Armor: there was a point near the end where it stops taking damage for a fair bit before you beat it. Do you know why that was?
At 7:20 he does an attack that "hits" me but only half of the code was used. He was supposed to do what he does at 4:40 but since I was using the shot lock he didn't really grab me like he was supposed to and the sequence didn't go as it was supposed to but the invincibility time stayed. During the animation (that takes too long in my opinion) he's supposed to be invincible so what happened here was that he became invincible for the duration of time that it would have taken to do the whole section. (Grabbing me, doing his animation, launching the "Meteor" and finishing off with throwing a chunk of land on me).
I checked the time stamps and my theory holds up, the animation lasts about 25 - 26 seconds (From 4:40 to 5:05) while the invincibility time lasts the same amount of time (From 7:20 to 7:45).
@@blazeredraw Ah. Good to know. That confused me when I saw it, so it's good to know there was a reason. If I ever get to that fight, I'll know not to Shotlock him during that grab.
Yeah, Young Xehanort just chilling going around time and checking in on his old man self and these 3 dudes just arrive to beat him up, no questions asked, aside from that he's such a fun boss to fight, with his shadow clones and time manipulation
@@dollmaker6599 It's mostly annoying, the healing, the invisibility, the clones and the wave of attacks, especially the frequent invincibility frames and the tornado that leaves you defenseless, definitely not a good design for a boss
Right now I’m fighting mysterious figure and I’ve died like 200 time. I’m about to throw my controller at my tv lol. How long did it take you to grind for lvl 99
It took quite a long time, I got a vid in my channel showing a good way of doing it. It requires an ability that gets you double exp when low health and a combination of mega flare and victory pose. Victory pose doubles the most recent amount of exp you've gotten so if you get yourself in the red blinking health state that'd be X4 exp. You then equip yourself with alternating mega flares and victory poses and spam triangle wherever there are lots of enemies. Good places are: -Skull rock in the Peter Pan world, but it gets slow and repetitive really quickly. -The Arena Battle that is in my video cause I tested them all and that one gives the most exp. -Mumbling through a random world that has the highest level enemies, going up and down till you get it done.
@@blazeredraw I did it by using a glitch that sets the radiant garden to battle level 10 after beating the final ending and grabbing megaflares and going to where the one boss is and spaming megaflares into the center of the arena twice to get like 4 or 5 levels
The attack varies depending on who you fight him as. If you don't play as Terra, you'll never see him pull up the ground. I believe with Aqua he shoots fire everywhere with blades that scatter all around the arena, while with Ven he sends giant tornadoes at you that chase you
One thing I realized when I was fighting armor of eraqus I was playing as ventus and the moves are different depending on what characters you playing as.
@@quincycampbell6023 When played with Aqua, the boss will battle you with Spell Weaver and the desperation move will be to create large, spinning lines of light of different colors that will go around all over the field, with each one causing a different Status Effect. The player should dodge the attacks by Cartwheeling continuously until it ends.
@@ridermanyt8029 It made so much sense it's got to be one of those fights when you play as that one character it would be so similar but just different when you play as a different character
@@quincycampbell6023 what worse, if you play with friends against that boss. Terra, Aqua & Ventus in the same match, that boss will do the finishers like Tornado and meteor too
Honest to God with Terra vs no heart I just alternated my command deck thunder surge curaga and then at the end had 2 full stock of megalixir's to beat him took forever but I did it
Definitely not that type of skills XD. I just want the 100% completion, but if it requires a stupidly rough challenge, I'll try, that's for sure, but if I find it too stressful or impossible, I'll just drop it cause it ain't worth it.
Do no damage? As a teenager back in the PSP days I did a No damage run with Ventus, no Command Deck, I had lots of free time but I did this on the PS4, I would probably get my ass kick lol
I simply don't really wanna do it cause it brings me no fulfillment to do so. I'm not that type of person to do challenges cause there's no real reward aside from bragging rights, and that just ain't my thing lol. It's pretty cool to see other people do it, I give my respects to them and give you a good job sticker, but I have no interest in doing it myself :3
Sorry for the late response bud, but I'm pretty sure you just have to beat the game and the Mirage Arena for all these bosses, you just gotta reach them in the new area in the Keyblade Graveyard and simply enter The Land of Departure. For Xehanort's and Eriqua's armors you gotta buy tickets in the Mirage Arena. You most certainly have these by now, I simply don't check comments too often cause I don't receive that many lol
I do have the kingdom keys 2 mod in Minecraft, it's got shot locks, Keyblades, magic, drive forms with double jump glide and an air dash, moogles, and even an organization cloak you can craft to get organization 13 weapons and abilities
They're really strangely balanced one from another too, Vanitas' Remnant's only thing is that if you use heal then he heals too, but he's mostly harmless while the other 3 bosses are just 100 levels above Remnant.
@@blazeredraw so I decided to give these bosses a shot since I have 2.5 with me and these are the only secret bosses I didn’t beat. I’m trying to pull this off on standard. Do I need the secret ending or can I just beat the game of all 3 characters and beat the final chapter as getting all xehanort reports. Can I then go fight VLS or is there anything else I need to do on standard such as beating the secret ending.
@@jaayytaps7238 I imagine that you are talking about how to unlock the bosses? If so... Eriquas' and Xehanort's Armors: Get a high enough arena level at the Mirage Arena. Vanitas's Remnant: Unlocked after beating the main game using the character you wanna fight the bosses with, then land in the new spot at the Keyblade Graveyard. Young Xehanort: Beat Vanita's Remnant and go to the land of Departure. Aside from the difficulty of the game itself and any extra buffs and debuffs at the start of a Critical game, the only differences between the difficulties is the way of unlocking the secret cutscenes. Pretty sure normal Kingdom Hearts requirements are... In Beginner: You can't. In Standard: You gotta get 100% completion of the game. In Proud/Critical: You unlock it as soon as you beat the game.
@@blazeredraw this really helped. Thank you so much. I’m in level 35 trying with aqua trying to battle VLS but I’m stuck and how much damage he takes and I’m low on abilities since I’m knew and trying to learn how to make all of the abilities
