So we're probably gonna get all kindso f wacky, perverted, transgressive or just absolutely bonkers stuff that won't let itself be slotted into any particular cathegory, that's all whatever, what I want to know? What I hope that you, who seem to know far more about Kingdom Hearts mods than me, can tell me about? Has anyone made a mod for Donald Duck where they give him his SNES / Genesis "Cold Shadow" ninja costume? I don't care how many "Mickey Mouse realistic balls" mods they make- if they give me Cold Shadow I will excuse almost anything.

Rumor has it that Albert Einstein was a Imposter and thats why Kingdom Hearts got so bad they followed the wrong Path! But now that we know that, Kingdom Hearts is going to be great Again.

That means Albert Einstein was dull then. Nuclear Physicist Thomas Campbell has a reliable unified Theory of Everything that is akin to how the world of Twin Peaks works. Also Kingdom Hearts’ story makes a decent amount of sense if you follow the strictest play order and play all Final Fantasy games

I was getting the story very well until they introduced TIME TRAVEL (terrible time travel, btw) and then I sighed and tried to finish the series as quickly as possible.

Mods

Putting Pixar in 3 turned me off for good measure. When I get around to playing 3 I will SKIP all the cutscenes with them and turn off the audio of them.

@@XVa-uj8m don’t do that lol 😭💀 not really ideal but it’s your choice no worries,however I do feel ya a bit but only with frozen,the rest of the worlds are fun and great additions,I hope moving forward they took the feedback from 3 and improve the worlds for 4 and onwards.

Taking all the FF characters was such a huge turn off to me too.... I was SO disappointed when I didn't see any of them in the game. Such a waste of world building if they weren't going to include them in the last of the original trilogy.

@@marcdy2575 Same, having at the least a hub for the Square-Enix to visit like an Airship in which they reside would only increase the value of your intellectual properties. Missed oppurtunities and short-sightedness does not make for great games.

@@marcdy2575 I agree that I also miss the FF characters but also nomura did explain why they arent as prominent as they were and it’s not a waste of world building at all lol the series is at a point where the original cast stands out more and FF people were only there to fill out missing slots for future characters,that being said they are considering bringing them back so we’ll see what happens but both arguments aren’t wrong anyway 🙏🏻 btw doing well?

I actually preferred the 1st star ocean to the second one even if I am in the minority, it's a great game.

@@tombrooke1281 I've never heard anyone say that. I think its awesome that you like it! Maybe one day we could get an upgrade like that to First Departure. I'd play it! Since you prefer First Departure, I'm curious as to who is your favorite playable character? A lot of people don't like Ioshua, but I like him and his sister (even if unlicking Eris is complicated). And Millie's adorbs!

Same here. Would have liked it more if it was turn based. Action rpg combat just wears thin on me fast.

When the original game was released, I was in my early 20s and I thought the concept of "Disney meets Final Fantasy mashup" was STUPID! But my (now) ex-wife really wanted to play it, so we picked it up. While she played through the Destiny Island portion of the game, I was smoking some Mary Jane and watching. Before she finished that world, I was hooked and ready to start my own file. The combat reminded me of Secret of Mana, which was a game I had loved in my teens. It became a game that her and I both loved (and still do) and even my now adult son loves this franchise as well, which is unique for him because he's not a RPG guy. With that said, in my opinion the best game in the series is KH2. I'd recommend giving it another shot the next time you have some down time and you have nothing to play. Maybe you'll find something to enjoy on another attempt. Cheers!

Yeah. But instead we got duped with the poorly optimized Cloud version on Switch. If Nier Automata can get by unscathed, I don't see how Kingdom Hearts can't get the same treatment, and Kingdom Hearts started as a PS2 title! Shouldn't be a Herculean task here. If even Dragon Quest XI, a game that came out almost a year before Kingdom Hearts 3 came out can run on Switch just fine even with Unreal 4, then need I repeat myself? Kingdom Hearts on Switch should've been a slam dunk.

I agree about the FF characters. That was the draw for me, seeing Disney and Final Fantasy cross over. Now it's just a Disney RPG.

Does it actually feel like a offline DQ game you can play to completion?

@XVa-uj8m They do have NPCs along with other players offline doubles that you can hire for your party so you can solo a majority of content. The game just feels like a dragon quest game that happens to be online so yeah I'd they probably could make it 100% offline experience at least for the story content.

@@seasalt4006 Ok because I genuinely HATE MMO's because 99% of the time their stories are trash and lackluster and the gameplay isn't good enough to make up for it for me. I know some rave about the latter but no thanks.

As much as I would like that to happen, and while I think that would happen, I don't think they will do the Monster series, much less the Joker trilogy.

I center on Iger because KH1 came out when Michael Eisner was CEO. While I dislike how he generally killed hand-drawn Animation for Disney but at least he didn't screw up live action films under his time unlike Bob "Only Marvel All the time" Iger. Oh and in case anyone thinks Disney doesn't interfere I heard Disney had the call on some Marvel characters they wanted in MVC3 and Infinite. I heard they really forced some in on Infinite.

You definitely NEED to in order to understand the story cause they are all connected and important and I will say some of them haven’t aged the best but others are fun for sure 🙏🏻
