Well he was saying it didn’t matter Ventus won those skirmishes it was all to make him stronger, strong enough to be fused to Vanitas to turn into the x-blade Wielder Xehanort wanted And it didn’t matter how many Unversed were destroyed they simply flow back to Vanitas to be recreated later So it was a hopeless situation because it all lead to this either way
Both Ventus' and Vanitas' BBS's voice acting was so much better. Vanitas sounded more stern here than in KHIII. Ventus' lisp is such a significant change and same goes to Vanitas.
THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE! KH3 voice acting in general felt "off" like maybe there was a new Voice Director or something. Haley's Vanitas voice felt so corny in comparison to BBS' calm and collected performance.
"I've become a part of their heart, just as they've become a part of mine. My friends are my power, and I'm theirs!" *Fight continues, Ven wins, and scene shifts to Sora and Riku*
Took Ventus 2 difficult battles to defeat Vanitas and he still wasn't fully defeated. Took Sully and Mike Wazowski 2 minutes to dispose Vanitas Who's the real MVP 😂
Ventus was part Vanitas's plan mate, but Mike and Sully caught Vanitas off guard. Plus, he still wasn't fully defeated after being multi-banished. He came back later to try to join with Ventus when Ventus's location was revealed.
After all these years and looking at this fight and hearing Ventus... I realized that although we have been playing Sora since day 1, we might have actually been playing as Ventus all along. Sora seems to be influenced by the light of Ventus which now worries me. Do I want to know who Sora truly is after all these years of love and care ? I have a bad feeling... As soon as Ventus wakes up, so will Sora.
Ventus in KH3 has a moment with Sora like a mentor, so it's possible that Ventus always spoke to Sora subconsciously and helped raised sora in a way to keep him pure and avoid all of his mistakes so that Sora wouldn't have the same fate
@TheSanarossOne That's strange, I feel the exact opposite of what you feel. I am absolutely hyped for Sora's true self, I think Roxas is Sora's true self revealing itself for the first time in 12 years or so in a way.
Now ik I'm extremely late but hear me out. Judging by what you said and sora is going to show his true colors then the theory of sora really being the master of masters could be really solid. When ventus was released into his own body sora could now start going down a dark path in search of Kairi at the end of kh3. He would always be willing to have his friends aid him but in the ending he tells Donald and Goofy that he needs to go search for Kairi alone. Thus making him spiral into a dark path. Plus his eyes resemble the all seeing eye. AND the master of masters isn't good, nor is he evil. He acts carefree and goofy like sora plus it could explain xehanorts reaction whenever he heard the master of masters identity
Any choppiness in the video I apologize for. This was due to a PS3 recording error, I even had to replace a bit of dialogue/scene with the PSP version (the scenes are no different). Well with that cleared up, any more questions about that I just won't respond too anymore. I'm sorry.
SoranotRoxas im just glad you have a version where the final phase battle starts without the music restarting which messes up the scenery, so thnx for that
Am in the only one that feels bad for Vanitas at the end when he's trying to reach the x blade? He looks so cute and adorable I just want to give him a hug :(
I always viewed Vanitas as another one of Xehanort's victims, albeit more dangerous than most. It's too bad he was created in a universe that pretty much hates his existence.
*_"Hmph, It's always about your friends, isn't it?"_* Vanitas is not only referring to Terra and Aqua, but also to the Dandelions. This is not the first time that Ventus decides to confront Vanitas to protect his friends, just that he does not remember it
Roxas’s appearance came from Ven, so the fact he inherited the techniques is unsurprising. Since the data characters are based on the real world characters they have the same abilities . Data Roxas might even have grown a heart!
for some reason.. I fell pity towards Vanitas.. It's like a person who being rejected because he can't choose to be. Like a kid that born from a criminal parent and get bad treat because of their parents. Vanitas don't choose to be born as a darkness.. It sad,
Vanitas looks like Sora.. The hair is the same :o I can't help but think of Sora and Roxas.. And how they're both a half of each others, when i heard Vanitas's words. All i truly have some information about, is Kingdom Hearts I.5 Chain of Memories? Idk, it was with playing as Sora though.. And II.5, which was the one with Roxas and Sora.
*SPOILER ALERT* ~IF YOU DIDN'T PLAY BIRTH BY SLEEP AND DREAM DROP DISTANCE, STOP RIGHT HERE!!!~ Actually Kevin is right, Sora isn't a Keyblade wielder, he did not when throught the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony, only Kairi (from Aqua) and Riku (from Terra). The only reason Sora can use a keyblade is because Ventus's heart is inside of him. Sora's/Roxa's second keyblade comes from Xion, not Ventus.
dfallen4ngel i actually said it wrong, Sora's/Roxa's ability to use a second keyblade comes from Ven's heart that resides inside of him, that happens during Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. Sorry. But about the ceremony, it does not pass on the keyblade you have, but the power you need to use one. When you touch a keyblade it scans your heart and it judges if you have the power needed to control it. Kairi touched Aqua's keyblade by accident during the events of Radiant Garden in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and the keyblade choose her to be a wielder, while Terra, in the same game, intencionally made Riku touch his Keyblade and it also choose him as a wielder in Destiny Island. Xion is Sora's fragmented memory, she is a characters from Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. And yes Aqua didn't die, she is locked in the realm of darkness ;-;
Wes Vaz So that means Aqua's power already transfered to Kairi? And now she's powerless inside realm of darkness? And I still don't get who xion actually is. Why she can wield keyblade if she's just a mere memory. Also, when was that moment happend when Riku touch that keyblade?
I remembered that this was the very 1st boss fight where i had tp focus qnd MEMORIZE differebt strategies. Especially the las battle against vanitas in the dive to the heqrt. Damn Was that shit hard
Can someone please help me I’ve looked up guides and videos and that last bs minigame is even harder to understand. Every time I think I’ve got it it just shoves me over again and laughs at me.
Mcspeed I know it's pretty late, and probably you have already got the d-link part, but you need to full the command bar there to use the finish, and the only way to full it, as I know, is to start one of those quick time events, and to start it, you need to use a command or a shotlock with him, the most safe way to do is basically spamming shotlock, which is also the most easy qte since you just need to button mash
Well technically, Ven created that move, Since ventus came before Roxas, But yes it is a throwback of Roxas using that move in kh2, which kind of explains why Roxas can use light pillar attacks
Y'know, the reveal that Vanitas looks like Sora is kinda spoiled by the fact that he sounds so much like KH2 Sora because he's voiced by Haley Joel Osment.
When I first played Birth by Sleep, I nearly flipped shit when Vanitas removed his helmet and he looked like a raven haired Sora....and the only other Kingdom Hearts game I played at the time was Dream Drop Distance.
If anybody notice back at the beginning that boy who said "This world is just too small" that was Young Xehanort. And did anybody notice Ventus in his heart he was talking to somebody that was Vanitas sharing his heart with Ventus.Comment to me :)
It keeps breaking my heart that Vanitas desperately grabs at the x-blade because of all that false thoughts and ideas made by Xehanort, all that manipulation he faced just to be whole again qwq
I think mirrorman95 meant the part where you seemed to have skipped a part when u were fighting vanitas, but I'm pretty sure there was nothing else to the battle other than trying to match up the skills with vanitas to finish him off. So, mirrorman95, you didn't really miss anything.
I am confused. Can anybody help me answer this? So in KH3 Vanitas has Sora's face and Roxas has Ventus's face! Why is that when in Birth By Sleep is before Ventus accepts Sora's heart? Shouldn't the faces be other way around?
No offense but why is everyone comparing every keyblade characters that are better than Sora I like Sora he's cool I think every keyblade masters are cool even Sora
Unversed seem very similar to dream eaters... atleast icon wise aswell as design It's almost like unversed are just vanities' personal dream eater nightmares
This was the last good game regarding Kingdom Hearts lore, although it's kind of cliche (the story remembers star wars, naruto, and many others), but I think this game works because the story is not so connected to the full bullshit that KH lore would become, it works as a single game more disconnected from others.
Ventus at first wouldn't have been able to complete the merge due to him being so weak at the beginning of the game, as such the unversed served two purposes from what I know. One was to lure Terra, Ventus and Aqua away from he Land of Departure and by extension Master Eraqus and the other was to train Ventus so that he would become strong enough to make the merge possible. By defeating Vanitas initially, he knew at that point that he was ready to merge with Ventus to create the X-Blade.
