Hello! Here is a little video showcasing the progress on the areas around and in Caelum Via, which were all completely made from scratch. It's not 100% final as there are still things to improve, but it's getting there!
Makes me wish we had seen more of Versus before it was scrapped. The female lead at least seems like she would've been infinitely more interesting than Lunafreya.
I will have Stella inside the map, I've been working on recreating her model by modifying Luna, I reshaped the face, texture, clothes, hairs, to get something closer to what Stella looked like: twitter.com/Larxia/status/1726558190878515488 She will however just be a basic npc that you can talk to, nothing crazier than that because I don't know how to make custom AIs and what not (and I'm already so busy with the map alone), but at least she will exists in the world as a reference to that 😅
This is absolutely incredible! This looks exactly like the footage from versus 13 ! I just hope nomura can give versus 13 the justice it deserves with Verum Rex !
I didn't find this until now and honestly because I can get too emotionally invested in Versus stuff, I have been trying not to, but this is so beautiful and it is so far looking like everything I wanted from Versus and XV. Keep up the good work, it's good to see more positive stuff involving these games like this.
You're not the only one! We are very attached to a project that never came out, it's both a feeling of nostalgia and incompleteness, the frustration of never experiencing it. With this project I want to try to give some kind of "Closure" to VS XIII fans for the exploration of Insomnia.

No idea. It uses a little bit more vram than default worlds (around 4 gb of vram vs around 3 for most worlds of the best game from what I saw), and is a bit more heavier on gpu in some places but overall I would say it's similar. So I guess it should run ok but with some drops in the most heavy locations if the deck doesn't have any spare room for power.
