That's because it's suppose to Symbolize his return,his bonds and how remind sora helped him return it's kinda beautiful in a way I mean heck nobody has ever noticed that Roxas's keyblades oathkeeper and oblivion symbolize his relationship with xion and axel(lee) like oathkeeper represents how he made a promise to axel that they'd always be together but how he broke that promise when he left the world that never was leaving axel alone and oblivion represents how xion his friend who he loved very much was born in the tower oblivion and how they also promise to be together and be friends forever but then he had to kill her because it was there fate they were fated for oblivion and that's just beautiful but also tragic all of those events and broken promise created those keyblades of his they were blades born from the sadness,rage and guilt in his heart of not be able to protect his friends and keep their promises but I really like that because it stays true to how the keyblades are connected to the wielders heart and soul not there body how it's apart of them and also how Roxas is his own person with his own heart separate from sora and ventus which was the whole point of his game that he's the nobody with a heart. You know it's funny how keyblades work you know how sense sora's keyblade the kingdom key was taken by riku in kingdomhearts 1 because sora didn't believe enough in himself and only saw the keyblade as just a weapon and how he thought without it he's nothing and then his friends stopped believing in him when the whole reason the kingdom key choose him was because he never gave up and always believed in himself and his friends and then after him and beast made it through hollow baston and beast finally got to know him a little and then reminded and showed him that he's the reason that all those people he helped got to live their dreams and that is a good person with or without the blade and then after that sora comes to face riku believing in himself believe that he can defeat riku even with the wooden sword and how he's choosing to believe in Donald and Goofy his friends he chose to believe that they would still fight with him even if he didn't have the blade and they did and because of that it returned back to sora it's rightful owner. You know it's also interesting how when Roxas and sora's hearts were connected they could borrow eachothers keyblades but now they can't because they have different bodies so there hearts are separated not completely because sora's friends are his power but still you know. Anyway the point is kingdomhearts is really deep if you just take the time to sit back and try to understand it.

The last one hit me harder after thinking about how many friends/relationships he'd lost by now, one after the other, and how much it's defined his behavior all the way up to this moment. He was drawn to Roxas because he looked like Ven, who was gone almost as soon as they'd met. After Ven came and went, it was presumably Skuld who vanished, and then he fell out with Saïx. And a part of me wonders if the reason Xion has black hair, despite otherwise taking the image of the memories most heavily manipulated in CoM, is because having her around made Axel reminisce to himself about Skuld too.

There are 3 main scenarios in the DLC, and as now, they have only showed us things from the ReMind scenario... there's still the Secret Episode and Limit Cut, one of them must have the explanation we need.

It's not hard to understand at all. The Organization made a new Xion using a time traveling heart, and then the present Xion's heart left Sora's body and entered her new body when Xemnas knocked them into each other. That's why that's the part where we first see her face.

@@CallMeNoa The Ultimania doesn't mention that her heart is time-traveling in the same way it does the others. The translation I saw was just a vague "Heart from when she joined Organization XIII". It's functionally the same anyway but I think they just made her from scratch to the same spec.
