Kingdom Hearts News in 2024 

We must be in Agrabah, because we are thirsty for some KH news.

I’ve always said that the earliest we are likely to get my KH news is after Rebirth. After the two next big Square releases are out, the first being 16.

I honestly we’ll see _Kingdom Hearts IV_ news content this year and I expect the game to come out by late 2024/early 2025. The trailer that was shown at the 20th Anniversary event back at 2022 looks to be way advanced in development along with the fact voiceover being added (which usually are the final things during the development of a game) and that the KH3 models and assets created in UE4 are being reused for KHIV in UE5, I see them going through a smooth development. So I have a hunch that development for _Kingdom Hearts IV_ started since late 2019 to early-mid 2020.

My expectations for more KH4 news is after FF7 Rebirth. It just makes more sense to me to set my expectations after that game is out and over with.

I hope we will get some news for Kingdom Hearts 4 in 2024

hot take, I think the gap between kh3 and kh4 is much worse than kh2 and kh3's gap. this fandom loves to complain about how long kh3 took but between the two numbered titles there was days, coded, dream drop, birth by sleep, fragmentary passage, union cross updates and the back cover movie. Sure they're all portable game/movies but I would much rather take a ds game over a mobile gacha game. Dark road was more watered down game play wise than union cross and melody of memory only had 30 minutes of actual content. Please do not get me wrong, I adore what those two games did for the story but I'm really disappointed that we just have another mobile game to look forward to. as a passionate kh fan i am struggling to stay interested in the series until 4's release. i wish missing link was at least playable on the console ;-;

I will be praying for kh 4 I want clarification on star wars being in kh4 from the at-st foot being in the trailer

I'm predicting that we'll for sure get missing link this year and maybe get a teaser or two with a release date by the end of this year.

I guess there’s always the potential that they do some kind of announcements later this month for KH3’s 5th anniversary, but I wouldn’t hold out for that. I do think we will have something more substantial about KH4 before the 2 year anniversary of the KH4 reveal trailer comes. If we don’t get anything by then, then I think KH fans have the right to be upset about the complete lack of communication

Most people especially Game Developers forget that modern games take a longer to develope.

I'm sure the story content of Missing Link will hold me over, personally. But I do hope to hear something about KH4 this year.

Never will feel the same as KH 1 and 2. I miss those days so much. 😢

I do think we’ll get more information on kingdom hearts 4 once final fantasy 7 rebirth comes out. That’s what the general consensus seems to be right now.

Nomura San did say that once ff7 pt2 is out and done they will be focusing on nothing else but kingdom hearts content and updates so I think 2025 is a good year for release

Sadly, until FF7 Rebirth, Square Enix won't do any KH4 news. They're likely lining it up to be their next big thing cause FF17 will likely take quite some time. Worry not about how long it'll take, the strategy that was used for FF7Remake and Rebirth is the same for Kingdom Hearts 3 and 4. They remade the assets for our new HD/4k/+ world and especially with Quadratum likely using touched up/revised Versus XIII assets, we'll get KH4 soon! Now, if anyone wants to worry, it's for KH5. As while the assets are there, we're probably getting Verum Rex after. That's all fine with me, given how long I waited for Versus, hence I'm a bit annoyed with FF7 sucking out the air...but soon, just need to be a bit more patient. We'll be rolling in news and speculation will flow...right into an early 2025 release 😭

After rebirth releases I'm sure there's going to be alot more news coming out.

Its wishful thinking but imagine kh4 at the end of 2024? Id be hyped, ff 7 rebirth next month, then kh4 late 24.

I was 4 when Kingdom Hearts 1 came out. I was in 2nd grade when Kingdom Hearts 2 came out. I finished highschool and started to become an occupational therapist after working as a paramedic for a year when Kingdom hearts 3 came out. Since then I got a boyfriend, moved with him twice, finished my exam, worked for over 2 years in my job and hope that Kingdom Hearts 4 comes out before I get married. Let's see what happens first.

Once FF7 Rebirth comes out at the end of February as well FF16 DLC releases, we will get some news about KHIV. I honestly think Nomura and his team were focused on releasing Rebirth, that's why KHIV was kept in the dark.

To me I think we are going to get a lot of 4 news this year and then hopefully releases the end of the year or early 2025

I mean we are getting a Sora amiibo in february.

I hope the Turning Red level "Toronto" will be in the new game Kingdom Hearts 4.

its insane to me that i ll buy kh4 to play it with my son....i was a teen when i got kh1! i kno that its a meme to clown on nomuras writing(the dude goes insane if they give him free range) but i love kh,the good and the "bad"!i hope 2024 will be a great year for kh fans

All I want is Kingdom Hearts HD Collections on Steam. I know that sounds like a weird desire, but l only have a Switch and a Steam Deck. That’s being stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to platforms to play Kingdom Hearts on.

I’m kinda getting fed up with these long dry spells and having to wait for Final Fantasy to do its thing before we can get Kingdom Hearts stuff. Especially since all we’ve been getting was mobile garbage and a stupid rhythm game.

Kingdom hearts 5 should be online mode create your own custom character all kinds of keyblades u can use play co op with 4 players in story modes and mini games explore worlds togetter wouldn't that be awsome?
