Yes, the kingdom is cashgrab for some time already. First, they took away cookie interaction decors (mostly only free decors are product placement, even Strawberry Crepe Cafe!). Then this sugar rock and pay walled statue (when even golden cheese raid gave a great landmark, which encouraged replayability of the game for me). Third, haven't you noticed how useless overall most recent epics are, not talking about how Caramel Choux and Street Urchin are useless for all modes. My arena team has no epics. And now that I hoped until the release of patchnote that Dark Cacao will receive the soul gem like Black Pearl. But not a separate character. I guess only good stuff for me in that update is story and Peach Blossom. Overall, kingdom becomes too hard to play modes like raids and even dark story mode, alliance too
If y'all still think that the English community is overreacting, remember that the Korean community is also enraged by this. There is now a movement in both communities to add a "plus" or "플러스" in their usernames and guild names. Spending boycotts are also being planned by whales and other top players, and there may also be playing boycotts. If patch notes confirms this info AND we will not be compensated, PLEASE join the movement. We need more people and power to show Devsis that we will not tolerate this any longer. +
I’m convinced that after the Black Pearl update, Devsisters has become more and more greedy, it ruined Kingdom, like really, I wish that legendary never existed. I thought paywalled decors and mystic costumes were bad but I never thought that they would literally make two versions of the same character, making the older version practically useless, like seriously, did no one at Devsisters think this was a stupid idea and that people will hate it? This hurts even more since Dark Cacao is my favorite ancient, what have they done to my king… That aside though, Ovenbreak’s new update looks way better, I love music cookies. Legit, the mobile gaming landscape looks and sounds like absolute hell. Doesn't matter if a game starts off decently, they can and WILL inevitably fall into pit of overtuned microtransactions which ultimately makes the game unfun to play if you mind paying exorbitant amounts of money on a phone game. Whether it be Cookie Run, any and every Gacha game, and especially SUPERCELL, it seems like mobile gaming's on it's way towards a crash.
The official server is legit getting flamed rn lmao, well deserved if you ask me. Devsisters forgot the core aspect of Kingdom that made the game famous in the first place,its generosity. But now they forgot that and have been consumed with greed.

That would be unlikely to happen, as Stormbringer’s costume banner ends when the update releases, as well as possibly delaying other costume banners, such as the possible 2023 Cookie of the Year Costumes.

I took a very quick look (didnt read everything bc this sh!t was at 144p) at that teaser and thought that that cacao got a legendary costume, not a whole seperate cookie😭😭
Same I’ve been playing kingdom since day 1 but as many updates go by the game becomes more laggier for me to deal with. I deleted the game 2 months ago and thought of coming back, but now debating whether or not to be back
c'mon .you can even compete in crob if you are old enough in the game to have most epics maxed out (and maybe some legendary treasures here and there since they're f2p to some degree)crk is just pure hell at this point with constant powercreep and absurd events

Its just so weird to do this stupid “ancient+” seperate gacha rarity when we JUST got Beast which is cool, but we have all the ancients and legendaries, and only ONE DRAGON still. This shouldve just been a crystal jam, we havent gotten a new crystal jam in ages and those still need an update too like ENOUGH new shit flesh out whats already HERE!!
@@snackyberrycan confirm this too, I managed to easily max out Pitaya Dragon’s new legendary pet because of the easy 10,000 crystals per week I get from the gem exchange center (I’m also kind of rich in the gems as well) if you do a lot in the game to get many gems, it’s surprisingly not that hard to level legendary pets up if you get crystals enough for it (or just use legendary potions if you have em)
I returned a couple months ago for White Lily Cookie, left the moment the best rarity popped up. This is really frustrating. I'm glad theres channels out there who record the stories and upload them becuase idk if I could survive with this mess!
i'm personally not a kingdom player, i mainly play ovenbreak as i find kingdom to be quite boring to play (lol), but oh my god?? what is going on over there?? it really doesn't make sense for them to make dragon lord dark cacao as a completely seperate character instead of just having it as a costume. wouldn't it be easier to create a costume for an already existing character instead of having to recreate everything all over again just for it to be literally the same character? lol. anyways, that's all i really have to say. i think we should have a counter for how many bad updates devsis makes in a year..
after black pearl the game went down hill especially the anniversary and moonlight cookie that event where you were forced to get her to get all the rewards was just crazy and tragic i quit the game after that i couldnt do it anymore

It’s very sad seeing that Dark Cacao cookie’s The Awaken Form is Separate from the Ancient Dark Cacao Cookie that we have is the same as Mystic Flour Cookie as you promote Her you get accessories from the back of her and this will go the same with Dark Cacao but is Awaken Form (I’m Not Disappointed or upset with this but lots of ogs or people will be disappointed) but crk is probably running out of Rarity Ideas and other things to give it a new role they could have made Dark Cacao Cookie better or make a soul crystal jam but they decided to go with making a separate. I played this game since Cotton Cookie’s update and although I deleted the game around Black Pearl’s backstory update. Got the game again around white lilie’s update and deleted it. I can confirm CRK has gonna insane on being P2W really ever since 2024 mostly. Now rarely I see epics in arena and now a bait team is barely as powerful then an average F2P team. It’s honestly really sad. When playing CRK I loved it because I can get far into the game and arena because it was so F2P now when I used to play it in 2024. I had rarely any enjoyment. Trying to get all the cookies and they were super epics, dragons, etc. To be honest I thought when they released the beast cookies or whatever they are called is so they could get more money. When I heard about it. I felt so confused because it just got thrown out of nowhere and I felt like it was just to get more money ngl.
Good thing the update got delayed and the ancient plus rarity has been removed and replaced with the new awakening system. It should make it much easier because you can get the stones by logging into the game on certain days.

I honestly thought that ancient+ was something that could be unlocked after after you ascend him(1A) and then unlock the costume or get a new appearance after 2A like mystic flour. If this is an entirely new cookie then I leveled him up to lvl 80 for what? I could've used all those star jellies and skill powders to invest in a different cookie 😭

Atleast with March shes free and has different mechanics, with Dan Heng he has the aoe / skill point thing, from what i’m seeing dark cacao pro max is just “dark cacao + better stats”
I mean the main difference is that you got the first Dan Heng for free, not to mention that while not as good as Il 4 star Dan Heng is still a pretty good 4 star. What crk is doing is just completely making a character that most people spent money on completely worthless@@azureempyrean64

If this is true, I think I might reconsider if I should keep playing kingdom for the most part. I play all three (CROB, CRK, and CRWC) but play kingdom the most. Might have to switch to mainly CROB for fun and CRWC for lore. So sad CRK is turning more P2W, and I’m losing that fun it had playing events. Why not just do like the Sdorica Skill book style, where instead of a whole new separate unit, is just a reskin with changes to skill to help them suit an alternative playstyle? Like an Armor Breaker becoming a True Damager, but toggleable. Changing a skill slightly so they do more damage to a specific type of enemy, but less to another. That type of thing, if they so badly want to do something new. Dark Cacao 2: Electric Boogaloo is just stupid.
As someone who played crk since day 1 and was f2p since then (DrWhoCookie used to be my username) I quit when mystic flour came out cuz I was so fed up with grinding boring repetitive quests for the 50th time all to get a cookie that'll either be mid or meta for a month And what a shock, mystic flour became meta everywhere, and my problem is how she is required, my a5 snapdragon, parfait and rockstar? Useless, my 5* pure vanilla? Who cares Genuinely felt demotivated after that I quit, and devs couldn't give 2 skunks about f2p players, they just give out pity rewards to soothe the community who is somehow falling for it, like a mule following a carrot
with the game being really unoptimized and crashing for a lot of people, now adding in this update to the mix, i think kingdoms cooked here if they dont fix this mess I havent really dealt with the crashing at all, but I HAVE dealt with horrible luck [gc, wl, and hell even mystic flour have taken me more than 150 pulls and ive literally grinded out all but 3 missions on the light of apathy event] i might see if my luck turns around but i highly doubt ill even have the motivation for kingdom. At least tower of adventures is almost here... It just feels tiring going after the new meta cookies, especially when you have really well leveled cookies and they cant be used because they're not in the meta. (especially sea fairy, who i thought was going to be in meta after her crystal jam update....nope) tldr: kingdom's screwed, honestly. esp with how horribly unoptimized the game is already. a shame we once had a really good game that fell to shambles to its greed.

I haven't spend one single dollar un this game and I will never do it. I have been playing this thing daily since the realse of Frost Queen. I fucking completed the Disney update and that was hell. I have a full ascended Pure vanilla, 3 starts ascended Dark Cacao and 2 starts ascended Holly Berry. I really thought that awaken Dark Cacao was a legendary costume like Lily + a Cristal Jam. What they were thinking doing this update??? I'm really invested in the story and I don't want to leave the game for this situation.
