so your base has 2 walls originally, if you build additional walls on either of the sides they should have a flag added to the end of them, go up to it and pay 4 gold to advance your legion(s)
if you teleport on open land the option to build a portal gate will appear, if you teleport onto existing building you will only teleport and the option to build a gate will not show up.
2nd island, in the forest there is a background object of the dog stuck under a felled tree, drop anything on it and it will break, freeing the dog. whatever you dropped can be collected back. the dog is basically an alarm system, it will bark in the direction from where the greed will come from at night, and if they come from both sides, it will start facing the opposite direction and continue barking. also it howls to the blood moon
