Watching this again in 2015 and i think that Tessie is the best pageant out of all the years of Heilala competitions,she's got everything that a tongan pageant is ,she's got looks figure ,skills of dancing ,white ,nice skin good at doing the Tauolunga even though she half palangi ,so proud of her,I wish she can compete again for 2016 but i think she's busy with life right now ,miss the old days. You're the best Tessie i love how you dance ,when you dance like a tongan ,you dance like a tongan ,when u dance like a samoan ure just pro at it ,you're natural .
You need to realize Miss South Pacific went to school in Hawaii. Also, the background music is originally a Hawaiian song "Beautiful Kauai" for one of our islands here in Hawaii. So all she is trying to do is represent her birthplace (Hawaii) and her culture (the Tongan race) in one. That's it. You will be surprised of the amount of Tongans that live here in Hawaii as well. And we Hawaiians and Tongans get along just fine.

damn miss tonga nz was the bomb...shouldve been her the miss heilala 2008..was up miss yvonne taufa.....miss tonga lady maria'fiona makisi'well it's done we can't change anything...she alright??ok she won but wud somebody have her on sum kinda diet /lose a few pounds...she's pretty but pls lose sum b/4 reppin' tonga in the miss south pacific and good luck...
