I found the warhorse to also be useful when you're on a march and being attacked on the way, I think it makes your buddies invulnerable or reduces damaged taken for a long time

In a Video about the best mounts i want to see all mounts and the pros and cons. This would be few minutes more and i would better understand why the bear and the warhorse are bad

I did a single player playthrough, trying all mounts through it, but never found anything better then the Griffin. In particular it had (or what seemed like it) really good stamina, and the ability to eat a lizard (can't see that thing being a rat) when it was hungry, no matter where it was (including in the caves... dude don't eat that, it's gross!). But the biggest factor was when I realised I could shove the giant greed away with it's wing blast. Blasting them back whenever they get close to the wall makes killing them a slow process (my archers miss them half the time) but they don't damage the wall at all when I do it right. It was also useful to push away enemy greedlings from my troops if they're getting overwhelmed to give them a second to reform. In my playthough I tried all mounts, but nothing, in my opinion, worked better then the Griffin. EDIT: Also I saw someone else comment that you didn't include the bear. I dunno about four years ago, but I had a bear during my playthough in the last few weeks (it's from island 3 I think). Although cool, you still get hurt when charging through enemies, so not as cool as it could have been (but of course the devs couldn't make it OP).

Hey, is it true that if you destroy small portals the difficulty will rise? Im only on 2nd island but already getting attacked by flying greed. Only cave portals remain.

Is there a way for singleplayer to have all mounts on the same island?

Managed to get Kingdom 2 crowns for free on my iPad I don’t know why though it was free for a day then after that it switched back to USD. 🤷🏽

I’d have to agree with you except for one thing. It’s not just you who talks about this, but it seems like everyone on the Internet is just in love with the unicorn for some reason. Literally all it does is shit three coins. I understand that can be useful, but that’s all it does. It doesn’t have any other buffs or special abilities or secret hidden talents. In fact you’d think it be pretty bad ass given that unicorns typically in mythology are pretty fucking cool. Unicorns are some of the best animals in mythology but this so-called “unicorn” does Jack shit. It’s the most expensive mount in the game at four coins which given that price tag you’d think that it would be pretty damn good in all categories, but it isn’t. Despite being so expensive it’s speed is on par with the standard horse and it can only graze on grass which leaves the special ability to do a lot of the heavy lifting, but that special ability is literally to just to make a few coins. I honestly don’t know why so many people think that the unicorn is such a good mount. The only thing that the unicorn has ever remotely done for me was save me a few trips to one of my farms when I was building a wall… that’s it. It didn’t help me recruit vagrants faster, It didn’t help me when I was in winter, it didn’t help me when my walls are being knocked down nor did it help me when I was in the forest in dire need of stamina. All it did for me with shit an underwhelming amount of coins. People all over the Internet have artificially inflated it to make it seem like this amazing thing, but I bet you the only reason people do so it’s because it’s a unicorn. I bet you if this was just some weird gruesome undead monster or some weird crab creature that did the same thing, I bet all of the money in my pocket vs all of the money in your pocket that people wouldn’t hold it in such high regard. And if you still think that the unicorn is such a great mount, let me ask you this: do you think amount is worth four gems when all it can do is produce three coins every few moments when your archers and farmers make literal hundreds of coins each and every day?
