Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning Gameplay Tips | Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning tips we go over the four races you can pick as your starting custom character. Along with what elements from Earth, Air, Wisdom, Order, Justice, and None get you. How to build your character the way you want under the three ability trees Might, Finesse, and Sorcery. I will also go over in detail on Destintis work that allows you to custom build your character's combat abilities by mixing and matching Might, Finesse and Sorcery together in different Tiers. I'll also go over how Armor sets work along with the different kinds you can collect. Taking a look at all the different kinds of weapons you can collect as well. Finally, once you level up I'll show what each of the skills you can invest in work from Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Detect Hidden, Dispelling, Lockpicking, Mercantile, Persuasion, Sagecraft, and Stealth. Here's my last game's build: LVL up: mage End game: champion (battle mage) Weapons: Two handed hammer(absorb health enchanted), Two handed staff(absorb mana enchanted) How to play: summon the faer gorta, use relentless assault, run into enemies and clear them with thunder storm (tempest), if they have fixed the bug of tier 4 warrior skills (battle frenzy / bloodlust) that turn your faer gorta to hostile, you will be invincible. Another option: keep yourself at tier 5 mage, use 71 mage points to obtain meteor, then you will have two ae skills to wipe out the enemies.

It's worth mentioning that each race has a different set of beliefs (or "elements" as you call them) to choose from. Also, the skills you "absolutely" want to spend points on are Detect Hidden up to 5, Dispell up to 4 and then I personally recommend maxing out Blacksmithing and Sagecraft. Lockpicking makes the minigame easier, but is not exactly necessary if you're patient and Mercantile is pretty much a waste of points since you'll be swimming in coin in no time. Points in Alchemy and Persuasion are fine; Stealth only if you're really a fan of sneaking (but most of the time just attacking head-on is quicker than being stealthy^^).

Fun Fact: +% Melee dmg benefits: Longswords, Greatswords, Hammers, Daggers, Faeblades AND STAFF & CHAKRAMS. +% Ranged dmg benefits: Longbow and Septers only. Hope this helps people build choices. :)

Also: +% Pericing dmg benefits: Longswords, Greatswords, Daggers, Fae Blades, Longbows. You can customize Staff, Chakram, Septers and Hammers to have Peircing dmg. +% Elemental dmg benifits: Fire, Ice and Lightning. Including weapon damage with these effects. Bleed and Poison are NOT considered magic. There for they are effective against enemies resistant to magic. Like Trolls.

some clarifications from a KOA nerd the race you start with isn't really important. All it does is give you some points in passive skills which you can improve as you level up. it does help to pick a race that starts out with some points in the skills you want, but it's not necessary as you can add points into them regardless. the elements/gods you choose are pure passive boosts and actually change from race to race so picking a certain race might lock you out of a gods/elements passive might tree is the tank/berserker class focusing greatswords, longswords, and hammers. the harpoon is a skill that you activate. Really useful for pulling archers and mages close up for punishment. finesse tree is your stealth/utility class. Has your basic stealth boost and sneak attacks along with toggled buffs to give your weapons poison damage and increased crit chance. Focuses on daggers, faeblades, and bows. magic tree is all magic. basic healing. lightning ball that can be upgraded to a storm. Ice spikes that upgrade into a homing blizzard. fire explosion that upgrades to meteors. A ult spell that combines all of them into a elemental combo. The shield is a sustained ability that negates a percent of damage while it's on. summon a skeleton minion to fight with you. Uses scepters, staffs, and chakrams

Mulder GameChron thank you! The only benefit of retiring because of an on the job injury and being 100% disabled, plenty of time for gaming and don’t have to worry about getting sleep to go to work, can do all nighters if a game is that much fun. And thanks for responding, most creators seem to forget that part, interactions with their followers unless they pay. I already watched part two. One thing I did find out, don’t steal until you are ready to fight or have enough to pay.. lol. But like I said, being new to the “new” generation of gaming I never heard of this game, so I took a shot since I got a small discount for PS4 plus. Sometimes those end up being the best game, no hype, no million videos on reviews since the game is older, and I am having a blast! Thanks again! (Sorry for the long comment)

My build at the late game is the Universalist (which masters all the weapon masteries) I like all the class and have all the convenience whenever I encounter tough mobs. Weapon: Main Fae blades (pure crits) and Chakrams (Mana absorption) Crowds: Greatsword (Hp steal) and Dagger (poison dps). Single fight (giants and high hp mobs) Hammer (stun stats) and Scepter (Ice stats) Playstyle: Blade honing, Battle Frenzy and Sphere of Protection. I use Faer gorta before using shadow flare and lunge to jump in to the enemies and switches to different weapon on the fly if I fought the single mob or crowd. Having all the masteries unlock at max level gives you experimentation on using all the weapons while having great overall stats.

Might be obvious but I still wanna say it just in case. The Armor setbonus requirement is only bind to the amount of armor from the set u were. Most bonuses apply with 4 pieces, so the 5th slot u can equip with an armorpiece thats better than the setpiece.

Blacksmithing to me is very useful as it gives you the ability to forge your own fate gear wise. I've always find it bothersome to have to rely on RNG for good gear.

Am in the middle of renovating my Game station setup. I can't wait to re-create my old build; Sorcerer with 14 points on Might, 28 Points on Finesse and 81 points on Sorcery. If I do this right my HP will be 2300 and MP will be 2400. I'll be wearing a Dreadscale armor on a combat mage with high Critical hits and destructive AoE spells. A fire chackram set with a secondary lightning damage and 45% damage boost, and 30% Stun lock. Let's see if very hard mode, is "very hard" with the gear I'm about to unleash.

Lock picking is the most useless perk to level up As soon as you see the pick start to shake You can save lock picks by canceling the action before the pick breaks And fine tuning the right analog (The only difference in difficulty is how much the pick will shake before breaking) (Maybe I should make a small video to demonstrate about what I mean)

Dude your video seems scripted, locksmith is the worst skil, maybe invest enough for the milestone, Detect Hidden is game breaking. Blacksmith and alchemy are mandatory for min maxxing

Yeah it’s weird it was unlocked for some early today with no warning. But once you look at in steam, psn store or Xbox store it’s not out yet til tomorrow. So weird.
