As usual, it was a top class presentation, l was extremely pleased that you included the information on the paved walking tracks where people with disabilities are able to access walks. This is an area that is overlooked by most! My wife gets around on a mobility scooter and obviously can’t do climbing, etc, but the flat ground and paved pathways make it more enjoyable for her. Thanks again, can’t wait for the next video.
We’ve been very pleasantly surprised at how well managed and maintained the NT national parks we’ve visited so far have been.... certainly many accessible walks and inclusions 👍
Ohhhh, I loved the rendition of Johnny be good. Jasper always brings a smile to our face, but tonight he made us laugh too. What an awesome kid. Another wonderful episode guys.
Hello from the U.K. I watch while I am ‘working from home’. We went to Australia back in 2013, we did the same walks at Kings Canyon and Katherine Springs and this has brought back very happy memories. I was supposed to be coming back last year but have now put it off until 2013. Hopefully on day in the meantime I get my fix on You Tube.
Wow again!!! What amazing content. So much to see and so informative. If I lived in Oz or visited again I would love using your tips and travel guides to enjoy all the wonderful experiences you’ve enjoyed and share with us. Jasper is a star 🌟- walking so far, playing air guitar, singing so well and giving out useful information too. Amazing!!💕💕🇬🇧
Hi Katie, Paul and the star of the Air Guitar, Jasper!!! So much packed into this weeks epsiode. Kings Canyon is just so beautiful, the scenery is breathtaking and the colours of the red centre are so colour poppingly gorgeous, and the rock formations have so much character and colour and drama,. Thank you both for taking care to present walks that are suitable for all modes of moblility and ages. Something that can easily be overlooked, but that can such a difference to including people who may rely on mobility aids and giving them options that they may have otherwise dismissed and bypassed completely. So many National Parks are investing in infrastructure to enable more people to experience these areas of phenomenal beauty. Entrance fess that have cetainly been put to good use. High five Jasper!!! on completing the hike around Kings Canyon. You looked as if you were having so much funf....and a treat at the end of it all. Well done! Wow, it is really busy out there, as it is everywhere right now. We are still meandering through Queensland and with seeking out the best mobile phone reception that our NightHawk can find away from touristed areas, we find that we are setting up camp in quiet little country towns which we use a base to explore the surrounding areas. Work hard during the week and then get out tourist hats on for the weekends. Then we up stumps and move onto the next little country town gem. A very slow lap! Bring on next weeks epsiode! Safe travels and a safe return trip for the Travelling Merediths.
Thank you Margo for your wonderful comments as always. We have been totally blown away by the beauty out here in the red centre, it truly is a spectacular part of the country! Your slow lap sounds perfect and we think is the best way to travel Australia. Why rush! All those little towns have so much to offer and sure do make the perfect base camp for exploring further afield. Happy trails and see you next Sunday 😍
I saw this looking back over some of your past episodes and I remembered going to that same Mt Connor viewing stop and walking over the sand ridge to look at the "Great Inland Salt Lake" you mentioned. I took a photo of it because on that occasion the lake was spectacularly full with just that little outcrop in the middle as an island.
Don’t know if I’m more impressed by those little feet getting around the rim walk or the performance at the end! Haha! Such an achievement for the younger boys and what stunning memories you have. I think that’s got to be one of my favourite hikes I’ve ever done, as you said the view is just so different with every step you take
That was a great video, very informative thank you guys. To a personal point a huge thanks for pointing our the Kathleen Springs trail was accessible for a wheelchair, I have put that location into our trip next year.
Another awesome episode!!! It amazes us that anybody would even think of cattle farming out in those areas!! Very ingenious to think of making paper from native grasses. The views at Kings Canyon are breath-taking as is your photography!! Jasper is just amazing doing that whole walk on his own two little legs!! What a legend or should I say leg-end!!! Is that a Dad joke?!!! LOL I must say we were sooo blown away by Jasper's rendition of 'Johnny Be Good'!!! How old is that boy - 4 or 40?!?! We re-watched the singing and amazing air-guitaring quite a few times!!!! Jasper is really a mini-Dad in his entertaining ability!!! Go, go Jasper!!! You are certainly a star and a gorgeous boy!! Keep on enjoying your wonderful trip and entertaining us with your fantastic episodes!!
What an absolutely awesome part of the world. The number of caravanners out there is amazing. Wouldn't it be great to travel back in time & experience what the area was like a million years ago. We're here for such a short time when you take the board context of time & history into consideration. Another great post guys. Thanks 😊
Every summer months gets spectacular lightning storms in the Red Centre in the Australia’s Northern Territory and it is fun to watch in the sky when it rains. Lightning storms are seen in Yulara by the resort in Uluru Ayers Rock. Lightning is very dangerous and do not go in the water and hiking because lightning can strike. Every summer gets hot in the and the thunderstorms build up of the heating surface on the ground. Kings Canyon is the Grand Canyon of Australia. It is similar to the Grand Canyon in Arizona but is called the Australia’s Grand Canyon. Fields of lights are beautiful in Uluru Ayers Rock. I love Australia and I would loved to go back.
Cheers Jen, the locations out here in Central Aus are truly incredible! Looking forward to Darwin so much and hopefully we can spend an extended tine there to really explore it all!

Nice one guys. Jasper is really growing into quite the star ⭐️ Isn’t that rim walk the best?! We ended up biting the bullet and did a helicopter ride over it, we were that impressed. Love your work 😉😎👍🦆
Cheers Greg, he is certainly expanding all the time and it is awesome to be there to watch it all unfold 😊 a helicopter ride would be incredible.... we will have to do that next time as well.... would love to fly over Uluru and Kata Tjuta also 👍 all the best to you and your family 💙
The video was excellent, so full of great scenery and interesting places to see and stay in when venturing out to the outback. Keep rolling out the videos as they are top class, thankyou. Xxx
Be careful of the summer thunderstorms and there are big problems of the flash floods in the Australia’s Northern Territory and check the weather reports to hit the roads in the Red Centre. Thunderstorms are very dangerous and the flash flooding is a big problem in the Watarrka Kings Canyon north of Uluru Kata Tjuṯa.

This was awesome the music, the footage I felt as though I was right with you LOVED IT. I am also loving the longer videos. looking forward to more next week :) stay safe
The bribery always do the trick isn't it. I have a 4yo n 2yo so it will be a challenge for us with that walk but I'm sure we can do it too. The view is stunning.
We just love your videos. Jasper is a real rocker! Out of interest what did your friend use to repair the windscreen crack? It looks as though it should be in our tool kit.
Hi Datto, thank you! That was a glass repair patch - it really just serves as a ‘dirt preventative’ to stop dirt getting into the crack while you are getting the vehicle to the window shop! If the crack gets dirty it can cause more issues and reduce the ability for the resin (that is used to repair the crack) to do its job properly. 👍😊 you can get these at most glass repair shops
Hey guys stumbled onto your page and love it you guys are so professional I love it I'm trying to concentrate the wife to do the drive from Darwin to Perth via the red centre and what was your pick out of the campsites between kings and Curtin we have a forward fold camper :) thank you
