First time I’ve ever disagreed with Nick. Kinda shocking actually. Even if draymond did lay on Sabonis, using your own argument, you don’t believe the kings, ESPECIALLY with Mike brown as there coach, don’t know that draymond is there most REACTIVE player. That play you brought up only amplifies the fact that he did it purposely to get a reaction out of Draymond.

At the 16:00 minute. When Broussard said don't question my integrity. Nick immediately apologize in his way by saying I wasn't trying to question your integrity my friend. That response was great because Nick neutralize the situation which could have got out of hand. A great example how to handed yourself when a tough moment arises. Kudos Nick!!

I think what makes this show so entertaining is their use of props and recurring gags and jokes specifically about less-talked about teams and players like the Kings so that they can make talking about a wider range of teams/players exciting. Wheras Undisputed just talks about the Lakers and Lebron all day, Nick decided to go big on the Kings and so now it is a super entertaining segment. It is kind of like how Nick went big on Trevor Lawrence whereas other shows would barely talk about him.

Yes, and Brussard sometimes does the same thing, defending someone for no reason just to engage in a fun segment with Nick. But Nick is brings this to a whole different level: he takes it personal, goes all in or random subjects, and this makes the show so much better... Plus Wildes being a straight up comedian 😂

GREAT QUESTIONS NICK. If he kicked his groin or head would he have been suspended? Why is the chest a safe zone? One of the biggest issues with the NBA is how rules and what is considered a foul in game changes so much based on the player, the time of the year and the referee.

I agree with Brou that hold on the ankle could have been a flagrant instead of a technical. I think they're looking at his arm movements as protecting his head and so the technical was not letting go immediately. I don't think you can prove he meant to originally grab his ankle though so it depends how the ref first sees it Drays reputation certainly does not help him an ounce here

Warriors don’t look hungry. Last year was such an epic championship run, probably their best and most improbable. How do you get hungry again after THAT? Poole would likely do pretty well somewhere else. Same with Dray; time to move on for him. I’m rebuilding that whole bench In the off-season. No one has been able to spin a better narrative around themselves in NBA history than Draymond Green. He is one of the best role players of all time, but nonetheless there are a ton of players throughout history who could have filled this role. Whenever there is discussion around Draymond’s ability basketball ‘elitists’ will become gatekeepers by trying to tell people they don’t understand enough about basketball to see Draymond’s impact. I lost a lot of respect for Broussard here. I know it's his job to argue with Nick on the show, but for him to excuse Draymond Green's stomp on a defenseless player, who is lying on the ground, is egregious and irresponsible. It's especially irresponsible for someone who votes on awards in the NBA. If Sabonis were a physically weaker or smaller player, that stomp would have cracked ribs or caused internal damage to him. Anything less than a 2 game suspension for Green is a testament to the league's effort of fixing games.

The warriors actually can take advantage of the King's weakness if they use more pick n roll, Curry, Wiggins, Klay, Kuminga all make a decision to attack the rim relentlessly but if they don't it's over.

Comparing Green to Rodman isn't fair on two fronts. Rodman was a much better defender. He was a far, far better rebounder. He was more versatile, being able to actually guard quick players. Draymond can't really effectively do that. He's just a really good help defender. Rodman was also locking down Shaq in his prime for stretches. Draymond doesn't ever lock anyone down. He just plays really good help defense. You'll never see him shut down LeBron or Giannis or anyone. And secondly, Rodman was actually getting in the opposing players' heads to the point they'd get techs and intentionally foul him constantly getting them in foul trouble and ejected. He got a lot of people ejected over his career. The only person Draymond gets ejected is Draymond.

Not suspension worthy? Alright I have a new basketball meta then. Just sub in a role player with a few seconds left and have them hospitalize the opposing team star player. Make the rest of the series easy in exchange for a few minutes of having a roleplayer sent to the locker room. With no suspension for Draymond here, Adam Silver seems on board.
