Few albums that I've experienced have had such an opener that just sweeps me off my feet and takes me along for the journey. This is probably going to become my favorite KOL song to listen to. from it's haunting beginning, the inflections on the melody, and it's lead-in to "rainbow ball"... This is what I love about music and I love about KOL. they had it back in '05... they're perfecting it in '24. I hope many more songs come in the future. But even if they didn't, this... THIS id the one for me. Thank you KOL!!!! See you boys @ the forum in a few months.
“Knocked Up” is forever my best opener from Because Of The Times, but this one is the perfect number 2. Oh man, what a beauty of a song for starting an album.
There's a cool little detail in the album where the album closer 'Seen' seamlessly transitions into the opener 'Ballerina Radio'. The chimes continue throughout the end of Seen until Ballerina Radio. The wind chimes are also mentioned in the lyrics of Seen.
Caleb’s voice Matthew’s very ethereal and a lot of the times beautiful guitar parts Jared’s signature bass lines Nathan’s rock, solid drumming and not to mention his voice as well Along with their epic songwriting is what makes this band You can listen to anyone of their albums at any point in your life and it’s going to be amazing
Since were talking about album openers 1. Knocked up (Because of the Times) 2. Ballerina Radio ( Can We Please Have Fun) 3. Closer ( Only by the Night) 4. The End (Come Around Sundown) 5. great music, but you could play songs from "when you see your self" at shows, I feel like it was kind of forgotten after the pandemic and although this current album is good, the other one had a huge meaning for most fans that should be remembered by the band. I appreciate you existing, thank you KOL
