Just some 44 year old man. Father, divorce, veteran. I have read a lot in my life and gotten to hear a lot of songs. This touched me. Thank you.

This is my first ever comment about a song in RU-vid, am not going to say much.This was the greatest performance in a cover song i've ever heard.

I've never heard of Noah Gunderson. I was browsing RU-vid and came across this video. Round Here is one of my favorite songs so I checked it out, and omg! He fucking killed it. It was one of those performances that sent chills down my spine. Probably one of the best versions I've heard. I'm now a fan.

August And Everything After was such a huge part of my teenage experience. I’ve known every lyric since it entered into my ears, heart, and soul in ‘93 and I expect I’ll be able to recite it on my deathbed. It’s one of those songs and albums that immediately transports you back. For me, it sends me back to the best years of my life. The innocent and carefree years of eternal summers. Noah knocks this out of the park, and then some. I feel like I’ve been given a gift. Thank you.

Rare to see someone cover a song and you can feel the reverence and passion for the original. Round Here is such a powerful song backed by one of the most unique and powerful voices of my generations. This cover certainly did both of those justice. Outstanding.

This song was an anthem for the teenagers in the mid nineties whose parents weren’t paying any attention.

Jesus... what a powerful performance! The lead man pours his heart and soul into the music. The audience looks absolutely transfixed. I am sure it was an unforgettable experience watching this live. Also, huge props to the sound guy. This recording is so well mixed. Totally blown away.

I am 67. I used to sing this to my best buddy's daughter when she was a baby. This song means a lot to me. This is the best version.

Listened to my dad's CD collection as a kid. Green Day, Sublime, Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, The Fray, Counting Crows and more. This brought me all the way back to that, not really knowing what the lyrics ment but knowing every word. Thanks dad for teaching me about music, even if you didn't know you were teaching me.

Good God. How have I slept on this dude? My cousins told me about him and now I need to dive in. BARELY ANY songwriters have this dudes passion, you can see it almost the entire video he’s fighting back tears as he’s singing. First time hearing of this man, and what a way to be introduced. One of the greatest songs of my childhood. Wrote the lyrics on my cover of my high school notebook. To hear it performed this well, with such passion and incredible style... all these years later, is incredible. Bravo.

I listened to that CC album every night as I tried to sleep after going through my divorce. That was over twenty years ago. I don’t think I have heard this song since then, but this cover? This man, this soul captured my attention like a brick to a window. I loved the original song anyway, but this is something else. I have never ever seen or heard such conviction in a song performance. I wondered for a while why he spoke some of the lyrics instead of singing them-especially with such an incredible voice. But then I played it back and watched him and his face,his mannerisms-and I realised what had caught my attention so intently. It is the pure and utter raw pain in his voice, his face, his deliverance of the words-they mean something to him-something very deep and painful. When he sings the most prominent lines "when she looks up at the building", he is seeing it in his eyes,in his mind. He means it, he knows it. I know it too- and maybe that's why this stands out to me. It's almost as if those tones of his voice and his facial expressions, the horror in his voice and soul are in tune with everyone who ever feels the same way. Because it is horror-every single day-to feel that way and for no one to notice. His raw and unapologetic style is something that I have become somehow addicted to. It feels like he's saying " I get it, I've been there-I am there-but I'm still here". I couldn't praise him more for this performance, and would absolutely love more of the same . Of all the millions of songs I've listened to and performances I've watched I have never been so fascinated than I am to his. Thankyou Noah x

After a day filled with reflection and laughter, love and gratitude, there’s an emptiness where someone special is missing. Noah, you moved me to tears with your performance. Having graduated HS in 1994, I know this band, this era of music, but I didn’t know the depths of emotion in this song until you. It's the way I couldnt get through this song the first time I heard it. It's the way Adam penned feelings I've felt into words I'd never been able to express to anyone. Like decades of feeling this same thing with/for/against/because of someone. And here you are making it impossible to listen to it after hundreds, if not thousands of rotations over all of those years. It's stupid how much I love this song. I think it may be my favorite ever. But it's been the most consistent track in music. Its perfect. This cover is perfect. Thank you for taking me way back to that first time. I doubt you'll see this, but man, Noah. Thank you.

I'm so glad there's a pro quality video of this cover. A couple months ago I saw a shitty camera video of this cover (different show) and became obsessed. I thought it was one of the most breathtaking covers I'd ever seen. It's so obvious how personal it is and the style/arrangement is perfect.
