To me, this video has a main, recurrent theme: control. Who's in control, who's controlled, what control does, how much control one thinks he/she has over things. The main character (the cheerleader in the middle in the first scene) perceives the death of those policemen as her doing. As if she had some powers of sorts, as if she could control that. Another thing I noticed is that the whole sequence from 1:40 to 1:53 is filled with imagery, even myth: blindfolds and eyeballs (control over what someone sees and what he doesn't see); a clock (do we control time or does time control us and our lives?); a symbol for a mythological god (Cthulhu, maybe? Anyway, that's a question about faith and gods: who controls who/what?); a raised arm creating a sort of triangle with the elbow (Illuminati, maybe? Again, who's in control and who is controlled?). Lastly, the video ends with her sitting on a car, then a light from above shines on her. Is it a spotlight, thus meaning that in her head she's in control of her whole world? Or is it some sort of UFO light, further questioning control? I don't know, maybe I am just overthinking and this whole video is supposed to be focused on race cars coming out of female genitalia and/or a black cop called "D. Long".
