I'm affraid, these soldiers are out of luck ;-):-) Imagine how Ardyn watched this battle scene with sadistic smile on his face and with maniacle blaze in his eyes...
Nyx really deserves to be a King of Lucis. Such a shame he doesn't have any royal blood running in his veins even just a droplet. Rest in peace unknown king of lucis
I swear that sorceress is the most beautiful girl in the whole history of CGI. It's a pity she doesn't make it past the opening credits....Sometimes I sit and think about just how stunning her face is, and wonder how they created such pure beauty and I'm no even a weeb! I'm a gay photographer with a life!
I like Nyx in this movie. I am not a fan of FF. I watched this with my friends because they were looking forward for the game to be released. At the ending when I saw Noctis, I was like WTF? That's the actual main character?
@Chris Lightfellow One of the reasons I bought the game is because of this movie, what a disappointment when I got the game. The Kingsglaive have more power than the guards of the King-to-be and Noctis can't even conjure this power. It was really annoying to see how it was so different from the movie.
After all this time I finally get why I stumbled across a random downed airship in the open-world. It's too bad the in-game battle was nowhere close to this scene.
Crepera So do I. This movie has a very classic fantasy feel to it which I enjoy. Now that I think on it, I actually enjoy this more than the game (the gameplay just doesn’t work for me).
Cmon writing was not that bad... at least its better than ff 5, 10 and 13 right? It cant be worse than a grandpa becoming a little girl (galuf and krile), a non-existing main character (tidus) and a complete filler (litterally every character in ff13)
You know what I wanted to fight in the FFXV game? That freaking huge monster thing! Where the hell was that in the game? Hopefully a patch will come out lol
I'm not a gamers but i really in to the movie. I can understand the story line just by first watch. I have to admit that I'm kinda addicted to it since then. Rewatch again and again again..
This was really the first shout out to a FF7 Remake being a thing. Cause there is no way that Square Enix would just add Diamond Weapon out of no reason what so ever. This was a showcase to how epic just 1 of these monsters are. Think about the glory of them all when the Remake launches!
Money improves graphics, but it doesn't improve writing. Now, budget could also mean time, which CAN improve story. I found 15 to have a very enjoyable ending honestly.
+Abyss Walker FFXV has the merit to at least develop its characters (with exceptions like Luna...) most FFs have a great story but cliché characters, some don't even have a narrative arc.
becasue their world, the one they spent most of their resources on doesnt make freaking a single bit of sense, like for example the most direct one from this video, with tech of flying cars, guided missiles, how tf is that country still like directly from middle ages? with monster that big and powerful, how tf is it not ruling the world, all they need to do is just wander around once and major human cities are in ruin, unless a Attack On Titans setting. etc etc
This team should have been the main characters in ff15 tbh, especially Nyx and Crowe. Really sucks that they kill everyone cool off and then we get stuck with a bloody boy band
Movie effects Looks at this Omen trailer, Noctis warping looks just the same as theirs. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pIyfWSrw_FQ.html
Mostly because Noctis hasn't come into his true power. In game, up until later chapters, he's still running around. Getting stuff in order to get his full abilities... But even then. He spends ten years in stasis, and you get such a short time in playing as older Noctis.
They're the ones casting the fire tornado. Kingsglaive have different specialities and Crowe and the other ones on the tower are the few who can use Grand Magicks such as Wide Area AoE spells, while Nyx and the rest of the other soldiers are more specialized in Combat Magicks. Tiberius is good at infiltration, while Nyx's specialty is teleporting since he's the only one that doesn't feel like puking after using it repeatedly which allows him to do his heroics. Edit: You can tell which ones can use Grand Magicks by uniform. They're the ones with caped hoods. As opposed to combat types which have hood masks.
I enjoy watching the animation, but I hate how they do the transitions. Like the fade out/fade to black. Makes me think the scene is over or that we are going to a completely different scene. Like, just cut to the next shot, you know? And also, all that hair blowing in the wind.... and yet no wind ambiance. Makes this scene feel artificial (which I know it's not real), but realism goes a long way. IDK
Fade ins show long passage of time, hard cuts have direct continuity from previous scene. I like it but as a whole this intro is too short, the whole movie was at lest 1 hour too short, an epic like this needs a looot of time to be told properly, yet due to budget constrains and mostly due to american movie making practices they limited them self to standard 110 minutes for long films.
"Guess what? What? WE WILL MAKE GAME THAT EVERYONE WILL LIKE! BULLETS, MAGICKA, ROBOTS, ELVS, STRONG MEDIEVAL MEN, STRONG INDEPENDENT WOMEN, AND MONSTERS!!!" .... are you fkd mate?
gendumzwarrior Lucis has two separate arm force, Kingsglaive and Crownsguard. The glaive are like the Army of Lucis because they can use king magic, while the crownsguard are the police force and task to protect royal family and public safety, and most of them can't use magic.
A CG-től, mint mindig leteszem a hajamat, de a filmben ez nyitó jelenetként elég furi volt. Főleg úgy, hogy 15 mp-enként legalább 20 vágás van, elég nehéz rájönni, hogy ki-kicsoda.
