2023 Farmer Champion Top Local Spend Award Winner: Kinship Butcher and Sundry
Georgia Organics’ Farmer Champion campaign brings together local farmers and the food service community to increase sustainable and organic purchasing from Georgia producers. The Farmer Champion Awards exist as an annual way to award and celebrate top spenders and folks giving back to Georgia's "good food community".
At Farmer Champion Kinship Butcher and Sundry, it is a family affair. Rachael Pack and Myles Moody co-own and run the whole animal butchery, wine, sandwich and goods shop every day of the week. They share the space with Myles’ brother, Connan and his outstanding coffee shop, Academy Coffee. Any day of the week, you can pop by the shop in Atlanta’s Virginia Highlands’ neighborhood for one of Myles’ killer breakfast sandwiches featuring Georgia raised pork and pair it with Connan’s creative coffee drinks. Then, mosey on over to Rachael’s curated wine selection, pick up a bottle to pair with a local steak you picked out at the butcher counter, Carolina gold rice from the pantry, fresh produce from the fridge and maybe even some flowers if you get there early enough.
